Brandon Lloyd?

Are we seriously going into camp with Torrey as #1, Jacoby as #2, and Tandon as #3?  I don't think so.  We are going to trade for someone or pick up Lloyd in FA.  I'm sure that Big Mac will be back doing his Fat Albert impersonation too.

Eh, I don't know. I really don't like Lloyd, but he wouldn't be an awful signing depending on the deal, how much, how long, etc. I'd prefer Danario Alexander, but I would expect him to either be too expensive or just too much of an injury risk.

This is still how I feel about Brandon Lloyd. The Draft had no bearing on my opinion of us getting him. A shame we didn't make DX an offer. I would have loved to have him here dirt cheap. Doubt it would have happened, though, as apparently the rest of the league believed SD would match anyway.

Im surprised that we havent done a single thing to upgrade our offense this off season in free agency or the draft even though we lost some BIG pieces.I think Lloyd would be a great signing but I doubt well get him.I dont see how were supposed to make a playoff run with this current wr corp.Unless Thompson and Streeter have been showing out in practice I think the ravens have decide to make this a grooming year on offense.

I think our #2 might be someone who can run all the routes well and with good timing. I mean, Tandon Doss or David Reed. Tandon Doss was drafted to be Anquan Boldin's replacement. Now, it's time.

 

Beyond that, Brandon Lloyd is SUPREMELY gifted. But he's not a Raven. He doesn't play like a Raven, he doesn't practice like a Raven, he doesn't have the personality to be on this team. He's a very intelligent guy. He trolls. He's pretentious. Bipolar, he doesn't care sometimes. His persona can change immediately, he'll do some awesome things. 

 

 

He wouldn't fit into this locker room.

I agree. Runs his mouth too much and acts like a diva.
