Brandon Lloyd?

Interesting that Ozzie named Tori Gurley as a possible guy to play at WR this year. I think he's a guy that many of us are overlooking.

That's the guy from the Pack, right? I always forget his name but never forgot who he is. I totally agree.

Yeah. I was pretty excited when we picked him up. Pack fans have said he could play for any other team in the league. He just happened to be on the team with the best WR group in the league.

wow, completely forgot bout him (Gurley) - no vet WR makes sense anymore at this moment in time (we're staked pretty well at this position and we'll draft a young gun too)

I think Ozzie was just saying that as to not divulge his hand. Gurley can't stay on practice squads with the Packers, Vikings, Raiders, Buccaneers, and Chargers all in the span of a year. This is the longest he's ever been on a roster, he's usually cut after 2-3 weeks.

The no's are here. We don't need a zone reciever. That's what Ray Rice does. We need down the field WR'S.

This just in, Joe can throw deep.

Because Brandon Lloyd has never had success as a deep threat...

This just in! Anquan Boldin has been traded and the Ravens are in need of a reliable possession receiver! Jim Caldwell learns from Cam Cameron's mistake by not sending nine routes on every play... Hopes to utilize shorter routes to move chains and extend drives. Also, Joe Flacco can throw short as well! More on this story on April 27th!

Some people on here don't realize how much of a treat it is to be a fan of an organization that is as close to perfection as you can get. They take advantage of how consistently good this team is. People that bash Flacco should take a look at Cleveland, Jacksonville, and above all, Oakland as possibilities for their new team if they want something to complain about.

Lol I couldn't agree more.

This man must have forgotten that Flacco is one dropped pass away from leading us into SB 46, which (for the most part) would've been consecutive trips

Lloyd's market is officially dead.

His career went out the window when he got cut by the Pats.

However, he'll get a call around training camp when a starting WR goes down, or the team's WR Corps lacks talent.

He should be getting a call somewhere.

I think we might sign someone at WR after training camp. This would be indicative that the coaching staff is NOT comfortable with the rest of our wide receivers. However, if we don't sign anyone particularly after not drafting anyone on the first day at WR:

then it means Doss has the confidence of the coaching staff.

veteran minimum and groom a WR

yup...:D

Or take Da'Rick Rodgers and trade whole draft for Marquise Lee next season

Yeah.... I like that idea :D

Kind of warming up to the idea, I'm comfortable with our current group of receivers though. A vet on the cheap would be nice. That's a "Ozzie move"

I want him.  I think he's awesome, and I think he's a real hole-filler for a little while as the youngsters develop.  Maybe he can actually be a star again.  Low-risk, possible very high reward.

Are we seriously going into camp with Torrey as #1, Jacoby as #2, and Tandon as #3?  I don't think so.  We are going to trade for someone or pick up Lloyd in FA.  I'm sure that Big Mac will be back doing his Fat Albert impersonation too.

I think our #2 might be someone who can run all the routes well and with good timing. I mean, Tandon Doss or David Reed. Tandon Doss was drafted to be Anquan Boldin's replacement. Now, it's time.

Beyond that, Brandon Lloyd is SUPREMELY gifted. But he's not a Raven. He doesn't play like a Raven, he doesn't practice like a Raven, he doesn't have the personality to be on this team. He's a very intelligent guy. He trolls. He's pretentious. Bipolar, he doesn't care sometimes. His persona can change immediately, he'll do some awesome things.

He wouldn't fit into this locker room.

Our WR corps is terrible and nothing was done to actually address that during the draft.  We need to sign Lloyd now.

Im pretty sure tandon doss got plenty of snap later in the season last year & in playoffs.

He just couldnt get open, dropped balls or just simply physically manhandled by CBs...thats why it *seems* like doss never got his chance, but he did. And he didnt do anything w/ it.
