I know hes old and we want to get younger on Defense, but i think we should go for him if he's still available after the draft and will accept like a one or two year deal, hes still decent at linebacker and will provide a good veteran presence in the middle and could help continue to groom our young MLBs, plus with the end of his career in sight Im sure he's hungery for a ring

There are so many other old, washed up, worthless players I would rather us waste our time and money on, like Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, or Chad Johnson they all would be more useful than Urlacher.

And I don't want any of them on my team, but they would be more useful.

That particular play was 3rd and 9 in the 4th quarter. Brady scrambled for 11 and the Pats went on to score the go-ahead TD on that drive. All because a 28-yr old Urlacher got shook out of his boots by one of the slower QBs in the league.

I'd take him on a 1 year contract if he's really cheap.

With Lewis and Ayandebayo gone, Urlacher could really help our young LBs learn their trade.

Only 2 years ago he was arguably the Bears best player, and he still made some big plays last year.

I wouldn't expect him to be anywhere near a 3 down LB, but by all accounts he is a great leader and I feel he'd be very useful for a year in helping us transition.
