Keep Art patch on jerseys petition

i just thought this idea presented by FreestateCas needed to be put into more light and where better than the famous RT
let's keep Art on our uniform as a sign of respect well deserved

To be fair the Ravens logo needs an update as well.

Maybe have a designation/memorial built into M&T? A place inside the stadium where fans can remember or learn about the Modells.

The "Art" patch may be simplistic, but I find its simplicity attractive. Sometimes, the simplest designs are the best. When you have too much happening, it takes away from the meaning or the significance & becomes more about the patch & less about the meaning. I like the patch, not just for meaning, because it is so simple. I like its simplicity.

For me personally, I find myself liking complex images initially but eventually losing interest, whereas simple images may be "boring" but the appeal lasts longer for me.

Lol I believe our logo is better than our previous, full raven face shown logo. It looks very modern, it looks fierce and it's better than most of the leagues .

how would you alter it?

I like the idea. Traditions and history give teams character and the fanbase a sense of belonging. We won't be a winning team forever and that sort of things helps, when your team struggles.
Art moved the team to Baltimore and his name should remain on the uniforms.

I like the Ravens logo alot. I don't like the 3d effect on the numbers. Numbers on a jersey should be flat, imho. I still think the pants on those uniforms could use a stripe. Whenever the Ravens wear black pants and socks, it makes them look like they are wear ballet tights.

I mean it's not terrible but it's not much better than the flying B, I'd like something more dynamic and iconic but that's just my take on it.

As for Art you probably can't put a statue at the stadium because of visiting Browns fans.

What about adding something to the stadium, like a large patch on the field or something? I'm sure it goes without saying he will most likely be added to a ring of honor-like thing, but something on the field could be nice or a mural on one of the end zone walls?

we should always honor him, he gave us what nobody would think about giving us, A patch on the uniform should always be worn as a way to say ' HEY PUT THIS MAN IN THE H.O.F' ,,,we do not take it off our uniform untill he is inducted,,also there should be a large picture at the entrance looking down on us as we walk in.

thats kind of how I feel about the Bengals uniform/helmet, theres just too much going on, like I get it you're tigers but does your uniform need to be entirely tiger striped it almost looks immature at times.

I do think it would be cool if we could incorporate a little bit of red from the eye of the Raven in our jerseys somehow. Even if it's just a little bit of trim.

Our main color is purple. Purple is what makes us different. Lots of team have black, like that urine yellow and black mess just to the north.

Will the League allow a permanent patch on jerseys? I know a team must get approval for teams to wear a patch for a year, but I don't know about maintaining it.

I think the Baltimore Sports Museum should add a display/section specifically for Modell right with the Ravens wing. He made all of it happen and should be honored accordingly

Eh, I suppose I'm in the minority but I feel as if the ART patch was a great thing that can and should only be done once, not an every year type of thing. We honored Art the best way we could - winning it all. It wouldn't be very special if we wore it all the time....at least in my opinion. I think Art knows how much Baltimore loves him for what he did not only for us, but for the NFL in general.
