Or convert Tebow to Tight End. It seems that may just have to happen now.

Jake Ballard is better than him. Any UDFA TE is probably better than him. He has no experience at the position, no awareness of the ball, nothing. Good thing he's the NFL's premier personal punt protector (w/e that is) because they may be doing a lot of it.

I just hope most Ravens fans show some class when they run into Pats fans. ( like this December )
Tempting as it may be, revenge like this just drops you to their level.
We have the better team.
We are better fans.
Lets act like it.

I vote for rubbing it in their stupid faces. Don't feel sorry for them one bit.

This just keeps getting worse for Hernandez.

Absolutely amazed.  I thought this would fizzle up - looks like it's gonna be a big one.

Hmmm...you think when he called his lawyer he suggested he smash his cell phone and surveillance system or you think when he called his lawyer he told him to be easy and stay cool?

I'm still not passing judgement...but very spurious this is

Lol - definitely the latter.  I have a feeling the destruction of evidence would have been a rash decision that was made that night...which will probably come back to bite him in the behind.

Unless he was destroying legit evidence. In which case it might work out for the better. What he should've done was break more things in his house and claim it was an angry tantrum. It might be a little disparaging if they saw the rest of his house and he had fancy vases on skinny pedestals and a lot of intact faberge eggs lying around.

While I am NOT passing judgement, I stand by my initial thought.

Most law abiding citizens, when the police are at your doorstep with a warrant to search your home, because they are law abiding, they do not hesitate to allow the police in to search. Calling your lawyer first, does not translate to guilt, but if you did nothing, and you're not connected to what they are talking about, you would probably call your lawyer after the fact just to be safe. Ok I'm off my soapbox now.

What I find odd, is that with all this coverage, there is 0 insight on the other individuals. They dug up like 6 years worth of Hernandez in 48 hours. I just saw something about him getting arrested as a "17 yr old juvenile" when he enrolled UF. Why isn't the media trying to shape our opinion on the other 2 dudes? Isn't there some insight to be gleaned from the girlfriend of the victim? Why didn't the residents in N. Attleboro call the police when[IF] they heard gunshots. I would think that in an affluent neighborhood, somebody would have called the police with the quickness. I guess the media will take a break when the police go to search the homes of the other 2 individuals...

Actually if the police came to my place demanding to search it I'd either be calling a lawyer or telling them to get bent before anything happened. I have nothing to hide and I've never been in trouble with the police aside from getting kicked out of a stadium for smuggling a beer in. It's a simple matter of privacy and even though I know they'll find nothing I still don't want them rummaging through my place.

Like I said two pages back, I'll be showing Hernandez the same respect I was disappointed Ray Lewis didn't get. The evidence is beginning to look bad, but I think everyone should be allowed a defence before the "murderer" jabs start coming in.

I would be shocked if Hernandez knew what a faberge egg was lol

I will too, but my blood was boiling earlier when some one linked to a thread from them around the SB on another board-- those fans would not know class if it smacked them upside the head. If he is innocent I can still bet when they play the Jets the abuse he is going to take will be unreal from the fans.
Those eggs are overrated lol

No jabs from me. I keep prefacing with I'm not passing judgement.

I know there are plenty of folks like yourself and I think there are a lot of folks who would do the opposite if police came to their home and mentioned that someone they know/a friend got wacked. No issues with calling the lawyer at all, but I guess I'm more curious about the advice you would first need to attain from your lawyer prior to allowing the police who have attained a warrant to search your place?

Apparently, Odin Lloyd was caught dating Hernandez's daughter's aunt, which may have triggered a Tony Montana-esque overreaction.  Hernandez destroyed his cell phone and home surveillance system and was asking around the neighborhood if anyone else had security cameras.  He had scheduled for a cleaning service to come to his house...  This is not looking good.

You're hitched pretty deep into bringing up Ray any chance you get here, huh?

im tryin to make a point. All these people here jumping to conclusions are the same ones that complain when people say stuff about ray. And will still complain every time something is said yet they sit here and do the same thing about Hernandez now.

Its sure as hell not looking good for him but it wasn't looking good for ray as well and he didnt kill anyone. We all should know how the media is going to jump on the famous guy and make him look guilty.

Its a real pet hate of mine people with double standards.

Just get over it, if people want to have their double standards, let them. And more importantly Ray wasn't innocent, he was convicted of obstruction of justice so you are basically just stating a fact that actually serves to support the argument of those who already believe Hernandez is guilty.

again im talking about murder. .. ive already made that point clear

I never saw you specifically mention murder, I guess I missed something. Oh well.

someone said innocent people don't smash phones, my comeback was if ray was innocent of murder he shouldn't have threw away the shirt. They aRe being hypocrites. Ray was innocent of killing people, he protected his friends. It looks like Hernandez is doing that here also at this stage, but yet people here are ready to hang him, then complain when someone calls ray a murderer etc etc. Hernandez is innocent until proven guilty just like ray Lewis should have been and every one here probably said at the time the thing went on.

thank you. It's the wry least all ravens fans should be doing because we know more than any other group of fans what is possibly going on here.

ABC News @MicheleMcPhee told us police will be at Hernandez home w/ arrest warrant shortly & there's concern he's threat to flee
[/font]

I saw the same this this time yesterday but nothing happened, but one one of the news shows that was on one of the anchors said he stopped by the stadium to say goodbye yesterday. That's the first I've heard about him fleeing- so sad

Sounds like he's going to be charged with obstruction of justice.

I can imagine, as the investigation continues, that more charges may be added.

That's what PFT is reporting.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/06/21/report-hernandez-to-be-charged-with-obstruction-of-justice/

Also more is coming out, like he threatened Wes Welker apparently. I guess this was after he was drafted and was trying to watch tape and he asked Welker to help him, Welker responded, "You figure it out Rookie". Hernandez apparently went off because Welker refused to help him.

In an anecdote near the bottom of a longer report, it was mentioned that Hernandez was at the team facility trying to watch film, when he grew frustrated at not being able to operate the equipment. Wide receiver Wes Welker walked by, Hernandez asked for help, and Welker replied: “Rookie, you figure it out.”

According to the report, Hernandez “responded with expletives."

Yeah it sounds like they're issuing the warrant for obstruction of justice, with a very high chance of elevated charges to accomplice and maybe even murder.  All of the reports seem to indicate that this murder was premeditated, which will certainly fry Hernandez even if he is only an accomplice and didn't actually pull the trigger.
