Seriously? That would be cool, although I am suspect of Joe's acting abilities. He was sort of stiff while doing those commercials. Acting is a skill after all. Not everyone can do it.

As someone who's seen Flacco's attempts at commercials, thank God he is only going to be throwing the football.

The magic of film my friend. I had watched Tom Cruise movies for years thinking he was this 6'2"-6'3" before I realized he was under 5'8."

Seems like a really cool opportunity, especially considering that Unitas' son was one of the ones who wanted Joe for the role. I can hear the hate from other fandoms already though, but who cares? Jealous much, me thinks...

This is great for Joe and Baltimore as well. It would have been such a slap in the face to have Peyton Manning play this role. It's nice to see Joe starting to get noticed more. Can't wait to see the movie.

As for Joe's commercials, get used to it because you'll see more and more of them. I suspect his performances to get better the better the production is. The more commercials he does the more comfortable he'll get.

As for the hater's let them hate, it won't change anything. I hate how the media acts as if the NFL won't be as good if Brady and Manning aren't playing each other, but it doesn't change anything. They still love those two at all cost. People hate Flacco, it's perfect because they hate the Ravens and us as a fan base and all of us could careless.
