i believe he's going back to what he knew during his draft days, who showed interest in him then... and if giants did and he was pleased enough with them (or any other team for that matter) that he then said to raiders to not draft him... well, at least it would take a tem searching for a LB out of the first round market - so win-win situation for us lol

with the recent news around these two, i'm starting to lose faith Alec will fall to late 20s where we could make a move to grab him, but your man Brown might go a little longer if one LB hungry team gets settled

I'd take Brown over Alec every day, lol. But you know that. I pray Ogletree goes to a team that would take Brown, and that the other team takes McClain leaving us to get Brown. That would make my draft day.

I would say i hope the vikings take him because i have see so many mocks and seen that the vik's do have intrest in him, if they do take mcclain they will most likly double dip wr in the first.... Hopefully they could just get him anyways as well even if that did happen.

I like what I see from Brown, he's the quick undersized LB with a nose for the ball and no fear of contact that I've been preaching the Ravens need to get in the NFL. And actually looking at his size he could very easily add another 10 pounds to get to 6'0 250ish, which is more than big enough given his style of play.

I agree. But I think you misunderstood. Three teams have reportedly made him offers, two additional teams are said to be interested in him. Ravens might be one of those teams who are interested, but want to meet with him etc first.

Yeah I saw that, and we very well may be. If this many teams are already in, I doubt he'll be coming here. Having this many offers juts drives his price up, something I doubt we'll be interested in doing.

You never know. He may choose Baltimore over other teams not for money but Ozzie, Cody, Upshaw. He may choose a family atmosphere over the environment of other teams. It's easy to say a player like him would choose money over anything else. I even agree he could. He fits the mold. With that said, I also won't throw him under the bus just yet, as he could surprise us all. Ozzie might even surprise us all, lol.

I knew a lot of people saw the potential in this guy but I didn't think he would garner this much interest. He may actually end up being too expensive. I love the fact that we have Ozzie and a few former teammates who are good friends but what's going to hurt the distance from home. If he has a lot of suitors, he will probably go closer to Decatur, AL.

I think it's more the fact that he's expected to be signed quick. This isn't a guy that Ozzie would usually move quick on, being that he has so many problems. It could happen, but I just don't see it.

I don't think McClain shot at the police - someone fired shots at McClain while he was in his car, and when the police when after THAT guy, he fired at them, too. What McClain did do later that year was shoot off a gun next to a guy's head. And of course, being shot at by someone makes you wonder what McClain did that a guy would try something like that.

and the two interested teams might be:
