The Panthers game should be fun, just to see how our D looks against a running QB since we struggled last year

I dont like they shafted us opening day for the season here and send us on the road for the first pre season game.

"Are you kidding me! The Baltimore/Carolina game isn't when they are going to raise to super bowl pennant is it, Sorry Baltimore I'm full blooded Steeler Nation but even you deserve better than this."

I LOL'd at this, it was a comment on NFL.com's article about the schedule release. We don't raise it till the regular season though, right?

Where's the Saints?

I swear we were on tour around the NFC South for the preseason, then the Rams switched in.

I hope our home opener is somewhere close because traveling to and back from St. Louis and then somewhere far does take a toll on the team.

The Steelers might be our best choice, since we don't have to travel far.

Facing the Broncos would be a real shaft though.

I don't care about not being home for the first preseason game, but being away for the 4th does bother me just a little bit. Then again, the 4th game is mostly for 3rd stringers/bubble players so our starters should be well rested.

Good news for season ticket holders is... the two games that the starts play the most in, are both home. (2nd and 3rd weeks)

Bad news, and really surprising and unfair... The Ravens last preseason game is on the road. When they already lost their home opener to start the regular season. Doesn't make much sense to me. But hey, neither does most of the decisions the NFL make.

[/quote]I actually enjoy seeing what the young guys do who are given a shot in the pre season.
