Keep Art patch on jerseys

Does anyone know if the Ravens intend on keeping the Art patch on the jerseys? I think they should. To me it's like how the Bears have GSH on their jerseys... it's apart of their heritage and everyone can agree that without Art there would be no Ravens. Besides, they still don't want to honor him by inducting him into the Hall Of Fame, so we should honor him with every game!

Personally, I like the idea of doing it. It's a very Ravens thing to do and have to do. We're use to people not respecting our team or our players. Just one more thing we do ourselves. If the NFL and the HOF won't honor Mr. Modell then to hell with them, we'll do it ourselves. I think it would be awesome to see that black circle become part of our team's heritage. Never forget where they came from.

Absolutely...! ART, forever will his name be linked to the inception of the RAVENS..!
It only makes sense.
I think it's an embarrassment that the Hall of Fame would not recognize arts accomplishments! Choosing to focus on how the citizens of Cincinnati still feel about going without a team for a few years.
If I was Ray Lewis , I would refuse to accept membership next year when they ask him to enter. And not accept membership until ART has taken his right full place in the HOF. Not only should they keep the ART patch, they should come up with another one to go next to it that says (=HOF)...!

One season and one season only. No disrespect, but I don't want our team dramping around in Art patches 10 years from now. The Raiders wore the GU patch for one year. The Titans wore a #9 sticker for McNair for one year. The Pats wore MHK for one year. This isn't a nock on Art, but I think more than one year is just overkill. And what if somebody else dies? Will our entire jersey be made up of commemorative patches?

We put it on for one season. It was nice. Now it's done. Time to move on.
