I was just checking out our schedule and wandering as fans what team are you most excited to see us play?

I didn't add any of our divisional opponents b/c it's a given that we'll play them every year, and divisional games are usually ALWAYS good even when we play the Browns. Unless we're playing a divisional foe in the season opener at home (2011 Pittsburgh 35-7, 2012 Cincy 44-13) Lol

I know that some are excited to see us play Houston b/c we have yet to avenge that sour loss and the fact that Reed now plays for them is a bit more enticing.

Some are SOO ready for us to go back into Mile High to prove that that divisional win wasn't a fluke.

But I'm going w/ a different opponent. I'm excited to see us play Green Bay! IMHO Rogers is the best QB in the league. I love Joe to DEATH and I wouldn't trade him for any other QB but I have to be realistic in this sense. I believe that the game will be high scoring. The Packers are an offensive team and we're transitioning into a more balanced team. It will be exciting to see Joe go toe-to-toe w/ that BAD man Aaron Rogers.

The NY Jets at home. 50+ points anyone? Its going to be so much fun dismantling them like we did the Raiders this year.

Oh do we get to make Sanchez cry again? If he's their starter then lol

Well, I am excited to see GB. I think Rodgers is a great QB but I do think his abilities are somewhat exaggerated by the media, and in turn, by fans who eat up everything the media has to offer. Should be a good game.

Packers for me also. I've never seen Rodgers in person and I want to see Dumervil, Suggs and company get him on the ground.

bring on the pack... if that won't go into a shootout then none of our games this year will... can't wait to see rogers pancaked by doom and sizzle

i disagree. I think rodgers is clearly elite and between him, brady, and manning its a toss up to me. Rodgers can throw on the run better than anyone and throws a excellent deep ball, not to mention is accuracy.

Will the Broncos be a big game? Yeah. Am I feeling good about it right now? Nah. I don't want the Ravens to start off against Peyton Manning with a bunch of new pieces. I want that game later in the season.

The game I'm probably most excited to see... is the Patriots. While the Ravens can't open against them because of whoever you want to blame... I would love to that game be the home opener. There's nothing quite as satisfying as seeing Brady crying on the ground, ("Bradying") or Bill Belichick even more at loss for words than normal.

Without his secuity blanket Welker... I'm really anxious to see how badly the Ravens pass rush can knock him around. Lardarius Webb will be back. It should just be abuse all-around, with a huge Ravens victory. And it can further cement the most current rivalry as belonging to the Ravens.

The Houston game I'm looking forward to because of Ed Reed's return to Baltimore. But I'm not nearly as excited for it. I'll want Reed to get his "revenge" for the Ravens not thinking he's worth much. But I won't necessarily want the Texans to win... unless in some crazy way it hurts the Patriots, Broncos, or Pittsburgh for playoff seeding. Also, Houston doesn't deserve anything for all the years they have failed to get Andre Johnson some help.

I agree w/ everything that you've said and I'm sad to see Reed go as well. He is one of the FEW players that should play every game for the team that drafted him.

But I believe that we paid him what he deserved for this stage in his career. He wanted to get paid for his body of work but we were going to pay him based on his age and level of play last season. I don't think that they lowballed him like the Bears did Urlacher in any sense... Reed was just being an NFL player and going after the $$$$$

The Packers game will be a great one to look forward to and play, but, personally, I want a rematch with the Texans. We beat the Pats and Denver in the most important games of last year. However, Houston beat us last season. I want us to beat them and beat the soundly. And honestly, for me, Reed being on their team really doesn't factor into my expectation for this game. If anything, it will be bitter sweet because of him being on their team. I just want a win against them.

You're upset that we didn't pay Ed Reed 5 million a year????????????????

Either Green Bay or Houston. But i have to go with Green Bay the most. As much as i want to avenge last year, Rogers is the last "elite" QB that joe has not beaten. There will be plenty of motivation on both sides. Sould make for a heck of a game.

Packers. I'd love to see Rodgers vs Flacco.
[/quote]

Yes sir. I still remember the MNF embarrassment. Think it might be different this time. Will be fun to watch Flacco shut up his contract critics. It's hilarious to me. First they say he can't beat the Steelers, sweeps em. Blow out first game and game winning drive ine the next. He can't carry the team or lead them when we rely on passing. Should've beat the Pats last year to get to the SB. Then he can't top what happened last year only to be one od the main factors behind winning the SB. Now they say he can't live up to the contract. Guess we'll see what happens next...

. Some press guy asked Huff about the shellacking we gave them and he just laughed about it, but I saw the pain in his eyes quickly followed by relief: probably relief that he's not on that horrible, horrible team anymore.

five primetime games anyone?

Denver - Possible Opening Day Game - Broncos are out for revenge, so we have to show th league we mean business
Green Bay - Battle of the two best QB
Pittsburgh - This rivalry never dies, but I feel it's slowly losing interest due to the Steelers being subpar
New England - Game always goes down to the wire
Cleveland on Thursday again?

I'd love a primetime game against Cincy, even if it's not opening night. The Steelers have had a few primetime games with them, so it's time we do too.

I don't know about Cleveland making the Prime Time this season. However, It would surprise me if our game versus the Texans doesn't receive a Prime Time nod.

Eh, it's even possible we see Detroit on Thanksgiving Day.

As much as I would love to agree w/ you on Joe being one of the two best QB's in the league.. I have to be realistic.

The Saints had a down season last year due to their 2012 offseason issues, but Drew Brees IMHO is the 2nd best QB in the game today. I know that Joe has outplayed Brady in our last three showdowns w/ the Pats but we have had a better D then them over that span(last season this can be argued) but as long as Brady has more rings and continues to will his team into the post season he's the third best at this moment.
