Finally, some good news.This year, our team may have the best pass rush we've had since '06 with Suggs and Thomas. Throw Upshaw's improving abilities and maybe a draft pick/Adrian Hamilton in the rotation and that is gonna be some fierce pressure coming off of the edges.

All of the sudden our pass defense is looking good.....QB's are not going to be standing in the pocket calmly picking out receivers down field. We'll see a lot of chuck and duck by opposing QB's this year.

Just wondering. Of course we are going to get a Inside Linebacker if not two in this coming draft. Hopefully we get Kevin Minter in the first round. But say we only get one ILB. Do you guys think Courtney Upshaw has the ability to play inside linebacker? Or is that asking too much from him? Just a question..

2013 will be a-ok but in 2014 Suggs,Webb,Ngata&Yanda Flacco will be 53% of the cap space. Five players!!! Long term problems will need to be resolved now get Michael Huff and Darius Heywood Bey from Oakland's FA list and entertain trades for Ray Rice&Ngata if possible for draft picks------even next year's draft. 12 picks&Ozzie getting the best of unsigned rookies might just do it. Of course where is Bryant McKinnie wqoreking out to stay an "elite" LT? Looks great on paper bvut it still brings up future Raven cuts in 2014. Salary cap will rise in 2015 so we need two years,face it Bernard Pierce makes Ray Rice a little easier to trade. Go Ozzie Go !! Dean Pees will sleep better tonight. Cornerbacks???

Upshaw is probably a little too big for the ILB role especially if he has been bulking up to play OLB or DE. Ayanbadejo has come on (to replace Lewis) on 3rd and long - I see that continuing. And then I think the Ravens go with some combination of McClain/McClellan/Carr/Bynes/Rookie for the inside guys. McClain & McClellan could be the McC Daddy line-up...lol

2014 cap is a problem, 31 players with 101 million tied into them. Ozzie will restructure or release, like he always does.

We do this every year, people. We are going to put out a dominant defense again with a great offense this year....just sit back, relax, and enjoy it.
