This is a Major Addition. The defensive line is about to become the strenght of the defense. With Canty and Spears this will pressure Cody to play each down and get control of his weight. Look for the draft to be about trading dwon for a Play Ready Safety.

So we just got Elvis Dumervil for less than the stupid Browns paid for the vastly inferior Paul Kruger. We get a true elite pass rusher with a first year cap hit of $2.5 Million!!!!!

With Suggs, Dumervil, Ngata, Arthur Jones, Pernell McPhee, Chris Canty, Marcus Spears, and Courtney Upshaw we have 8 lineman / linebackers capable of having 5 or more sacks and 3 guys capable of double digits. I think we're emulating the Giants and their ability to line up pass rushers on the edges, up the middle and capable of pressuring the passer without blitzing.

Our secondary may have lost leadership and experience but we'll be so much faster. With a Top 5 pass rush our secondary will be just fine even with our personnel changes. Ozzie Newsome is a genius who deserves a Nobel Prize. Scientists and economists can learn a lot more from studying his moves than they could reading the research from that crazy Beautiful Mind dude.

I am sure that the NFL will make it a prime match up for the opening prime time game. It should still be played in Baltimore, but what can we do.
