If Suggs Ngata and Webb are 100% healthy and McClain can make it back in good shape, our defense is going to be back on top again! Go Ravens!

Hey Suggs, can you get into camp without an injury? Might be good if you lose some weight also. Oh, and stay off the TV, just show up in July and be ready to play.

Down to three big needs: safety, ILB, and LT. In that order. BTW, can we have 92A and 92B?
Don't forget the Boldin hole. Unless Pitta morphs into Clark or somebody, we NEED to fill that hole. Go Ravens!!! :)

This definitely eases the sting of the Home opener fiasco. Bring on the Broncos on Thursday night.
We want to begin the season on top of the AFC North! Bring on the Squeelers!! Go Ravens!!! :)

The Bronco message boards have gone nuts over Elvis becoming a Raven its got to the point of insanity.
In other words, how it's been around here the last couple of weeks?

I hope this Elvis works out better than the first Elvis we signed after we won the Super Bowl...

Such a miserable chore this will be,... finding numbers to satisfy all these deadly new Ravens!

I am just chomping at the bit for the first Pre season game, when they are showcased for a couple of series! :)

Oh yeah, keep getting better! Next up, the Boldin and Reed holes!! Go Ravens!!! :) #back2back #SuperBowlBound #InOzWeTrust
Well, we have 12 Draft picks to fill maybe five holes overall, including Reed's, and two have been addressed with Canty, Spears and Dumervil!

I like Doss but Q's aggressiveness set a tone that will be hard to duplicate!

Excited to see our D return to form. I also expect career sack numbers from Suggs this year. He now has someone dangerous opposite of him. #BringOnTheLombardi

my money's on a safety (huff) and a decent back-up center... plus whatever other cuts the other team make before season... possibly mckinnie's back too
Hopefully McKinnies back!In fairness he policed Joes great playoff run real well.Yeh they should probably aim for Huff and McKinnie.

Title defense in the process! I can't wait for the draft! We have 12 picks, but, I believe that's too many to sign, so there will be some "movin' on up" Ozzie style.
It would be great to finally move ahead of the Patriots and steal one from their board instead of the usual vice-verse.

Does this mean someone gets cut tomorrow or Tuesday?
No but if Oz sees something else he likes that improves our team he'll cut somebody to make room. I don't think he'd want to but he would. It'd be cutting a guy to get someone better or two players, but I don't see it.

I feel like Oz is letting McKinnie see the lack of a market for him before the eventual low ball offer. McKinnie feels he was sort of cheated last year but no one is paying top dollar for an old player who can't be a consistent professional despite his solid play. When we make an offer its not one he will like even if it is one he will take.

So let's see, $40 mil for Dumervil, Canty and Spears or keep Kruger. Hmmmmmm, tough one. Now watch what Ozzie does to fill Ellerbe's slot. I love this team from players, to front office, to ownership, to coaches, to back office, etc., etc.

I did think it was a shame to lose Kruger but for that kind of money no way. The Dumervil Suggs, Ngata, Upshaw combo will be awesome next season and if McClain comes back then its only the SS and FS thats a worry as far as the D goes but lets face it there are vets out there and draft pics there, and with Canty and Spears the D will only get stronger

Is Dummervil playing as a DE or OLB, I heard both guess were going to have to wait.
Trust me, he's going to play OLB. He's going to play opposite of Suggs and not take turns with eachother. We got the D-Line down.

We were weak against the run because the middle of our line was weak. Ellerbe's success had a lot to do with the fact that he was making tackles after runners picked up 3-4 yards. Pollard also looked better because runners were getting through our line. Kruger is a pass rusher not a full time player. We lost two legends on defense, but we didn't lose an on the field star.

Jacoby Jones had at least as much to do with those playoff wins as Anquan, and for the record, Joe Flacco threw all of those passes--Jones, Boldin, Smith, Rice, Pitta, and Dickson each only caught a few. There is no question that we would have preferred to keep Anquan on the team, but his paycheck didn't match his production. If your paying a reciever 1/20th of your total team salary he should at least get a thousand yards and double digit touchdowns. Pitta fits a similar profile for a whole lot less money.

This all comes down to numbers. Ozzie will juggle a new crop of rookies, our core stars, and a hand full of stopgap players. This is necessary. He will plug our stars into key positions, and make the most out of the money he has remaining. You can't pay for stars at every position. We have earned our reputation on players like Spears and Canty as much as we have earned our reputation on guys like Kruger and Ellerbe. Spears and Canty will fill voids in our defense and move on or retire after a few years. Kruger and Ellerbe will have limited success with their new teams. Ozzie will pay less for better players, get a few years out of them and replace them with guys in similar stages in there career. You just need a couple guys like that on your team in the NFL.
Somebody else gets our team and big time football great post!
