ESPN poll has Denver 57% favorites to win AFC lol If they took that poll midway through last probably would of been a lot higher, haha they never learn, show them again Baltimore who is the beast in the AFC Denver had one of the easiest schedules having Oak KC and SD in there division as well.If it wasn't for Evans drop we would probably be going for a 3peat I think we have a better D this year with the draft still to come, getting excited already peace Ravensnation

Elvis the fax machine debakle is the best thing that ever happened to you. Your now a Raven and the fans are very loyal. Plus you have a guy that works the draft like no other.

Elvis has left the building! My favorite part is that we hurt Denver again with this signing. Seriously people this would be like us losing Suggs. It hurt Denver big time and we get the spoils. Love it. Love it. Love it!

love the elivis signing. why not add depth and work out a vet minimum contract with james harrison. at least it would remind Steeler fans who own his jersey to succumb to the reality that he became a raven. **one can dream**.

3 Needs = LT, Safety, ILB
1. Sign LT Bryant Mckinney before the Saints get him. He's the best option at this point. I really don't want to play musical lineman this year.
2. Sign Michael Huff. He has good cover skills and has veteran leadership.
3. I feel like we will draft ILB and take the LB by committee approach similar to the WR committee approach for replacing Boldin. We have Josh Bynes,Jameel Mcclain,Albert Mcclellan, Nigel Carr, Adrian Hamilton. Add some draft picks and let competition take care of the rest.

Any guesses as to what number he'll be wearing in Baltimore? 92 is taken and I doubt he'll get Ngata to give it up.

I would like to see Laquan Williams get into the mix at wide receiver. I think he will prove to be better option than Tandon (stone hands ) Doss..

Can anyone confirm this:

"Elvis Dumervil got $1 mil base salary this season, plus $7.5 million signing bonus. He makes $8.5 mil this year, with cap number at $2.5 m."

That's why we have the best F.O. We just won the Super Bowl and Oz the draft genius has 12 picks to fill a few position needs. That is scary good.

@crazyboutravens one bad game for 2nd year tandon doss, who has never been targeted in a playoff game before, and suddenly hes stone hands? have you forgotten the fact that since the day he showed up on the practice field the coaching staff has praised him for having the best hands on the team, even better than boldin in fact? im not saying hes better than boldin or has better hands, but he was obviously nervous, and got those nerves out, now how about we stick to the truth and not be salty about dropped passes in a game that we otherwise dominated.

@ Ed Reed 20 wasn't refering to all Ravens fans, just the really annoying ones that didn't stop complaining about the FO not knowing what they was doing and that Ozzie should retire.

That would be awesome! Not only for us as fans... but just to shove it down the throats of all the Steeler fans who still go on about the 6 rings. We'd have half in less than half the time lol.

We have the same number of NFL Championships: 1958, 1959, 1968 [NFL!], 1971 [SB 5], 2000 [SB 35], 2012 [SB 47]. And we won all of those without steroids or help from the refs......

I'm really excited about this signing! Suggs hasn't had an elite pass rusher opposite him since Boulware. (I like Kruger, but he only had one good year). This makes our defense much more viable in this pass happy league. It also allows McClellan to move inside and provide some depth. That makes McClain, McClellan, B.A. and Bynes inside. If the Ravens can get Dansby and Huff for cheap, that would free them up to not draft out of need. I'd like to see those signings along with McKinnie as long as the price is right. Nice job Ravens, get a great players and stick it to a conference rival!

Im happy for the Team they're building a Great and solid Defense, like i knew the ravens would do it, I've always have confidence in Ozzie and Co., But most important im happy for the fans, I hope that some haters change their minds about Ozzie and Co. right now! Because we Die hard ravens know what Ozzie is capable of doing. You still have doubts? well Wait till we are in playoffs again. God Bless!

Sorry Joey but they are not paying Elvis $8m to be a part-time player. I think we will all be surprised when we see Pees D.
very good point.. i have no rebuttals lol

YES! I have been waiting to get him ever since he was cut. I knew Oz would make it happen.

Now to make our offense as potent: Tavon Austin. Let's trade up to get him since we have so many picks now. Won't be able to keep 12 players anyways. I have had such a good feeling about this guy ever since I watched him destroy Oklahoma. It takes a truly special player to make the cuts that he makes.

I seriously can't believe this all happened because of a "fax fiasco" God I love Ozzie!

We hands down have the best front in FB even if Elvis is going to play LB. We should pick up Urlacher or Harrison for basically nothing...

I say sign Harrison just to have him rip apart the steelers two times a year and have every team scared sh**less of our front 7, great pick up with Dumervil!

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't think we lost much. In fact I think we've gained quite a bit. Slowing a passer starts with a pass rush, and a good run defense. We were weak in both respects last year, I don't think that is the case any more. we can draft MLB and FS and have a pretty complete team (with a few questions at LT).
We were "weak" because Haloti Ngata, Terrell Suggs, Ray Lewis, Pollard, Webb, McPhee, etc. were injured throughout the season. If none of those injuries had happened? We most likely would have had a great D. You can argue that Dumervil is an upgrade over Kruger (who I still think is going to have a dominant career), but we are now left with major holes at ILB and in the secondary. Jimmy Smith is a joke, and so is Terrence Cody. They draft Upshaw, and now bring in Dumervil, so what's the purpose of Upshaw then? They bring in veteran castoffs from the Giants and Cowboys. Great. Either temporary fixes or total busts, because both men are 30+. There is no guarantee that Webb will ever return to 2011 form, I hope he does, but considering this is his second knee surgery, and he's had tears in both knees now, just remember what happened to Foxworth, who was never able to come back. Or McAlister, who once he started having knee problems was never the same.

I'm just saying, signing Dumveril doesn't make up for what Reed, Pollard, Ellerbe, Kruger, Boldin, and Williams combined brought to the table. Boldin especially had more to do with our post-season success than any other player, and yes that includes Joe Flacco. Flacco would not have had the off-season, contract insuring performance he did without two people, Anquan Boldin, and Bryant McKinnie. As of right now, we don't have either player anymore, and no one competent to truly replace them right away. So having Dumervil (at a price ultimately bigger than what Kruger was asking for if he reaches all his incentives) is nice and all. But no, it does not make up for the losses, and it doesn't make Ozzie suddenly a "genius" again.
