What do you except from the LYING NFL they move last year%u2019s game just to listen to obama run his mouth. I place all the blame on the NFL commissioner, the NFL hates Baltimore. The O%u2019s were in no way to blame neither are the Ravens this is all Goodell%u2019s doing using Religion as a scape goat he doesn%u2019t have problems holding games on Christmas. IT%u2019S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY

Even if NBC is the culprit behind this because a few bucks is more important playing on a Thursday than doing the right thing playing on a Wednesday. The Orioles should rise above all else hand in hand with the Ravens and say to heck with everybody and show brotherly love and play a double header with an extra day of rest. Point is, after all is said and done, no one really cares about the Ravens, just themselves. We had a chance to show the world true brotherly love and kept the show in Baltimore but money and a show of power was more important than doing right for the citizens of Baltimore and Maryland. Plain and simple, no sense blaming outside forces when our own Orioles and Ravens could have solved this together and made us proud. We fans would have put up with inconvenience for the joy of watching our teams, ie: the large amount of money we spend for our teams as well as dealing with traffic. Blame it all on outside but I still think the Orioles could have been heros, afterall, no one would have fought the Orioles had the Orioles decide to play a double header and give their own players a day`s rest while everyone enjoy the fruits of having a Super Bowl Champion. Thing is, NO one stepped up including the Orioles. I know it sounds like it`s coming from a selfish Ravens fan but hey, really, what is the harm of having a double header with an extra day of rest ?

You're 100% correct. Angelos could have made this happen but chose not to. He missed a golden opportunity. Had he stepped up and did the right thing and moved one stinking, meaningless game, Ravens fans would have been quite appreciative. The appreciation would have been shown in the form of more ticket sales for the O's.

Way to go Angelos.
he alone could not move the game unless he had the support of the white sox, the powers that be of mlb and the players union which he did not have support from so do not put the blame solely on him. we are playing on the road so get used to it and time to move on from this subject matter

Ravens 10-6 2013 record.......#1in the division @ we play the squeelers on opening day at pittsburg which is like a home game anyway. Lots of reunions......i feel so sorry for the orioles players because there owner is a blue falcon. Oh and for the record 34-17 ravens.

I dont understand why the Orioles can't move their game. They do it all the time during the season if it rains and on a moments notice. Soemthings fishy and it aint the crab cakes.

MLB is opposed to moving a game that late in the season. Let's say they scheduled a double-header for Friday and got monsoons. How are they supposed to make up 2 games with only a couple weeks left?

For the record the easier thing to do would be to swap series witht he White Sox but what ever the season is what it is anyway

I'll put the blame on whomever I see fit. Now if you choose to believe that rhetoric spewing from the talking heads about mlb and the players union, well as they say, ignorance is bliss. As far as moving on, I'll move on when I'm ready and I'm not ready. I suggest you quote on something you think is more relevant since you're ready to move on.

Angelos deserves the brunt, bottom line.

Go Ravens !!!

I checked both the Orioles' and White Sox's schedules and they have a 3-game series starting on Tuesday, July 2. Neither has a game on Monday, July 1. Why couldn't they reschedule the September 5 game to July 1?

MLB doesn't have to wait until September to make this happen. The Orioles play the White Sox in Chicago during the first week of July. Add the extra game there, Chicago is compensated in the form of an extra game (ticket sales) and Bisciotti takes care of Angelos as he is on record stating he would do just that. Angelos simply doesn't want to feel as though he's been bullied as he's see's himself as the one that will do the bullying.

I'll believe Bisciotti before Angelos 100 out of 100 times.

I was just thinking. Out of over 100 something games couldn't they swap out one of the other home games and be away that day? I really don't see why they can't wok it out.

Wow the comentators on one of the sports channels i think nfl live. Was saying that this is incredibly the worst disrespect you can show to a team that brought home a superbowl. Superbowls are so hard to get let alone win. Combined with everyone jjumping ship like the titanic makes one of the mst sad off seasons in the nfl. Our poor team is always disrespected. And ed leaving is just beyond word. One that comes to mind s dirty.

Most likely set in stone now but let everyone involved in this decision know how you feel:

Orioles and the NFL must do what is right. EMAIL or CALL the following people: Roger Goodell <NFL@email.nfl.com>, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake (410) 396-3835and Peter Angelos (410) 685-9800 and Gov O'Malley 410.974.3901.

boo hoo hoo!!! poor baby ravens fans!! or should i say the nfl is out to get us fans!!! cry cry cry thats all i hear from the fans. cant believe this is even a big deal at all, oh yeah, im talking with other ravens fans here. for those of you that say the o's should play the game in chicago, thats total bs. why dont the ravens just play an extra game on the road? it's the same thing you're asking. all involved (which is too many to list) tried to get something worked out and couldn't. so we open on the road, no big deal at all, heck that gives us a home game later in the year so advantage us! so stop all the whining!!!

Call Roger Goodell's NFL office at 212.450.2027 or email him at roger.goodell@nfl.com and let him know how unhappy you are with his lies. The game is gone. There is no way the league backtracks now and schedules the game Wednesday, which is the only day that made the most logical sense. Show him how passionate Ravens fans can be. Fill up his inbox and voicemail. Last year he got 70,000 messages after the Seattle/Green Bay debacle. I think we can do better Ravens fans.
