Boycott the Orioles September 5, 2013 - September 8, 2013 Home stand against the Chicago White Sox. We as Baltimore fans must not stand for this. Our city freaking wins the Super Bowl and this is how they treat us!!!! Spread the word. ARE YOU IN??

Dont worry, there week night games last season barely had 10,000 on average in attendance and that was during sept when they were rolling.

I'm not gonna punish the O's for what their parents did, its not the teams fault. Although we should know by then if they still have a shot at the postseason or not, and if they don't i probably won't be watching anymore anyway. Last year was the first year i watched them past the all star break in at least a decade, and it was awesome because i love baseball but only if the games mean something, so i hope they maintain and they're competitive again this year, but if they're out of it and that game becomes meaningless and/or it rains out that day, i will be livid

Uhhh no! I'm not in. This was not the Orioles problem, this was the NFL's problem, and they didn't do enough to solve it. All the NFL had to do was play on Wed, they have played on Rosh Hashanah before, they have opened on Wednesday before. I see no reason why this couldn't have been worked. out.

This sounds vaguely contradictory, no? I would think that Baltimore fans would support teams from Baltimore. I must've missed something!

O's fault or not (and it is pretty obvious they didn't work very hard to fix this. Ever heard of double headers anyone? Please.) If this game is rained out and quickly re-scheduled for Sat/Sun as a double header, it will not go well for the Orioles.

No I'm not in. Kevin Byrne was just on WNST and said the O's were willing to move their game, but logistics could not be worked out. I blame Roger Goodell and NBC. They moved the game last year and refuse to do it this year for Ravens fans.

I vote the fans do their famous horse manure chant next time NBC does one of our games.

Not the Orioles' fault. It's Selig's and his stubborn evilness. ;D
Wrong. Selig was willing to move. This is 100% Angelos.

And your point? The NFL played on the same holiday just last year. They played on Christmas this year. It's a BS excuse.

i was going to anyways. i could care less if there was a field of dreams scenario playing out that day, baseball is just boring. but i will not blame the o's solely i blame everyone involved in the matter. why give up so quickly? its not like the game is next week.

Lol. I declare the first Sunday of February as the "Flying Spaghetti Monster Birthday." Oh well, gotta move Superbowl to Saturday, then.

No it's Goodell's fault. He has a win/win option of moving the game to Wed. He did it last year. His Jewish holiday excuse is just that. NFL, MLB, NBA games have been played on religious holidays before. Goodell is a stuborn jerk who wants everything his way.

They weren't that willing and didn't really work that hard IMO. The White Sox are here through Sunday. A Saturday double header would have worked for everyone. The players for both teams, which are both on the road the night before, would have gotten Thursday off. The Ravens would have played and all would be right with the world. What do you think they're going to do if the game is rained out? Hmmmm....yeah they didn't work that hard.

I've heard conflicting reports about whether or not it was the league or the Ravens who did not wish to play on Wednesday. The initial reports were that the league took Wednesday off the table. Now they are saying it's the Ravens.

Boycotting the Orioles is probably the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Adam Jones and Steve Johnson go and support the Ravens on the Road; and this is how we want to repay them.

I'm starting to wonder now if this really was the NFLs fault. No disrespect to any jewish fans here, but what does football have to do with messing up rosh hasanah? Seriously? So the NFL can totally disregard Christmas, but yet when its rosh hasanah its "oh no we can't play on that holiday"? Where is the logic here, because I'm trying to figure this out?

If anything, and I know ravens fans don't want to here it, but if it does turn out to be goodell and the NFL, we should boycott going to and watching the Ravens opener, then they will see how much us ravens fans are ticked off.

And oh wow, this couldn't have ever happened to the Ravens could it? oh no, no. What a coincidence....
