Doubt he accepts for an extra million. On top of that he is old, and doubtful he would fit our 3-4 scheme. The injuries dont help his case either. Imo he takes the deal from the Bears if the Vikings dont offer him any better. If the bears dont want him back, he may hang up his cleats.Thoughts on bringing him to Baltimore on a cheap short term deal? 3M a season imo wouldn't be bad because of the leadership ability he brings along with depth. We are going to be drafting a mlb and I think urlacher would make for a pretty good role model. What do you all think? I don't watch the bears much so don't know how much urlachers play has dropped off, just think we are really lacking depth at mlb.

Mt. Crushmore always makes about a million posts in a minute.
You no longer make a million posts a minute. You make a million trades a minute now....

For my money, no. Even at $2million I think he'd be too much for the chance you would be taking. He'll be 35 when the season starts, he's having more and more health issues (hammy, knee, back, etc.), he's lost more than a step or two and his numbers are really showing that decline. He might be motivated since the Bears "slapped him in the face" (as he puts it), but how far does that motivation take a 35 year old body that has had that much abuse?

"Being a geek is all about being honest about what you enjoy and not being afraid to demonstrate that affection. It means never having to play it cool about how much you like something. It’s basically a license to proudly emote on a somewhat childish level rather than behave like a supposed adult. Being a geek is extremely liberating.”--Simon Pegg
