16-0.

We win the SB again

56-3

Flacco throws 8 TDs
Doom gets 5 sacks
Suggs gets 6 sacks.

Then next offseason we lose Art Jones, Pitta, Dickson, Oher and cut Corey Graham.

Folks panic.
Media blames Flacco.
Media says we regressed.

Ozzie signs Patrick Willis and Calvin Johnson who was cut after their agents phone was disconnected for not paying his bill.

Ed Reed, Kruger, Cary Williams and Ellerbe are all cap casualties

Hello, fellow Ravens Fans. This is my first post here. I think that when all is said and done, in the end, the Ravens will have a record of either 10-6 or 11-5. With the constant additions from free agency and the upcoming draft, we will have a very good contending team.
Welcome to the flock, & I agree. I think we're a 10,11 win team. (Of course I'm trusting Ozzie to nail this upcoming draft).

I truly believe the Ravens are going to prove that we're a true dynasty in the next couple years.

11 and 5. Probably lose one heartbreaker. Lose to one "weak" team like we do every year.
2010 - Titans
2011- Jaguars
2012 - Eagles

Maybe the Bills or Browns finally get one out of us.

Eagles were pretty good when we lost to them

Also, you forgot we get another four compensatory picks, which gives us another double digit draft picks. I think the Wizard has put us in a position where we give up some talent to get more talent. Draft Picks + Cap Casualty = Championship.

We just need to give Flacco more ammo and protection.

I normally dont do predictions until all of FA and draft has been done, but as I see it we have the best team in the division as we stand right now and I trust Ozzie to put the final pieces in place through draft etc.

Our schedule is kind of hard, but most of the tough games we have at home. I think we go at least 11-5, but it wouldnt shock me if we go 13-3 or better. Our defense looks much improved, and if we can find a LT our offense should be better than last year as well. I honestly dont think losing Boldin will be that big of a blow to our offense. I think we will get an impact WR in the draft and our offense will be more dynamic going forward.

we will be fine people, remember we won with 20th ranked D, and we went and signed underrated, misused, and hungry players. we're reloading, just take a deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep breathe.

The d line has been improved. I will say at least 10-6 with Flacco having more control and a monstrous pass rush if the team stays healthy. Webb back is key as well as is Ngata, Suggs and McPhee returning healthy. Will have a more definitive answer after the draft.

We will be in the playoffs. The health/effectiveness of Suggs/Webb and the play of our O line will determine our seeding. Once you're in the playoffs anything can happen so I have no predictions there.

It gonna be a tough year, but I think it'll be another special year imo. On paper it's gonna be a tough schedule, but on paper the Ravens are a much better team, so we'll see how it plays out.

Early prediction before the draft, I think the offense and defense will have top 10 finishes this season. I said it right after the Super Bowl and i'll say it again Joe Flacco will have a MVP caliber season. 4,700yds 40tds 7ints. I know it's not a bold prediction thread, but my Bold Prediction is that Flacco completes 68% of his passes.

I think the running game will be so much better because it'll be used off of the passing game and the passing game will be all about spreading the defense out and working in space. Rice and Peirce will have a ton of success but Leach will still have a role as well.

The defense is gonna feed so well off the offense and should hit their stride over the back half of the season. Love how the run defense is shaping up, love Ngata moving inside, love Suggs and Dumerville chasing QBs both getting double digit sacks, I love Upshaw being that Rover type LB who will line up all over the field. Webb, Jimmy, Graham, Brown and Huff should make up a reallyy good secondary, they'll just have to jell.

On ST Jacoby should continue to be a huge factor even if teams try to kick away from him. Many think his role will increase offensively without Boldin but I don't. He'll have slighty more chances but not much. It'll be Pitta, Dickson, Reed, Doss and Ultimately Smith who will large roles in the passing game imo. Of course this is pre draft. Tucker will be lights out again this year. He'll assume the title of best Kicker in the AFC connecting on 96% of his Kicks 26/27. Koch had some rough patches last year but his overall consistency over the years leads me to believe he'll be fine. Plus the offense being better should lessen his time on the field.

From a schedule standpoint. I think the Ravens get 6 primetime games and a road game in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day. My prediction on primetime games. Season Opener @ Mia, MNF Home opener vs NE, SNF VS Hou, MNF @ Bengals, SNF @ Den and MNF vs GB. Ravens @ Steelers will be last game of the season.

I see 9-7.We'll be good,but we won't be lucky.In 2012,the Ravens were both.
I see next years team being one of the most dominant Ravens teams they've had in a while. I can't see any less than 10 wins if they stay healthy.

Can't really tell this early in the game.. my gut tells me this year could go either way. We excel with the new team and go 12-4 or 13-3 or we could have a collective SB hangover and stink up the joint with a 8-8 or even a 7-9. Just being honest here...

With the way I see this offense run this year, I think those number are definitely within reach. If you look at Flacco's number when the game was put in his hands last year I think you'd understand why I feel this way.

I feel Caldwell will hand this offense over to Flacco and watch him work. I don't think Cam did that enough. If you have followed Flacco sense 08' there is no denying that he operates best in the shotgun, spread out and up tempo which is why he has so much success with the 2 minute offense. If you watched him in college you'd understand why he thrives in this offense, it's his comfort zone.

Commonsense tells me to run this type offense more, but Cam didn't. However Caldwell did and will do it at an advanced level this year. So if we look at games where Flacco was allowed to run this offense it was basically every home game where Cam felt good about crowd noise. In the 6 home games where Flacco was allowed to run the offense he averaged 320yds with 15tds 3ints. Flacco and this offense's issue was inconsistency on the road. I fell it was because the offense wasn't put in Joe's hands. Basically the entire SB run was on the road, but Caldwell put the game in Joe's hands and we know how it turned out 4gms 280yds per 11tds 0ints. So in 10 games where I feel the offense was put in Flacco's hands he produced 3,020yds 26tds 3ints.

That's a average of 302yds 2.6tds 0.3ints per game. If you were to carry all those numbers out over the course of 16gms, his numbers look like this:

4832yds 42tds 5ints.

Flacco is gonna have a huge 2013 under Caldwell imo and they'll be nothing shocking about it to me.
