Great videos. Got anymore?

If I could I would buy game tape on our defense from 2000 to around 2008...Just the defense though lol

There will never be another Ray Lewis.

Oh man, when you see those old clips of Ray Lewis just in normal time and with normal broadcasting like that:

it really cheapens the Arthur Brown comparisons to Ray Lewis. It even knocks the play of Patrick Willis, too. We really don't know what we lost in Ray Lewis, and it has nothing to do with his magic touch and we lost it about 2007.

There won't be another Ray Lewis. Point blank. Good thing we have Flacco and Rice though.

It is a credit to Ray that he changed his game (Kind of like how Jordan did as he aged) and was still a 1st Team All Pro in '08 & '09, a 2nd Team All Pro in '10, and had a great 1st half of '11. Ray only "aged" his last 8 or so regular season games of his career. (Of course he still had great moments mixed in)

I will load more later in the week. I wanted to make sure there was interest before I did some more.

I want to add some other old plays like Ed (I have his 1st career INT & 1st career punt block), some Jermaine Lewis returns, Todd Heap in his prime, other Ray plays & the inside the NFL feature I referenced earlier, etc.

I'm glad I saved all these videos now.

I've posted this one before. Again, sorry for the quality.

Same game.

Week 10-2003 Sunday Night Football 11/9/03 (Ray's 2nd DPOY season)

That was Ray's 17th career regular season INT & his 3rd game in a row with one that season.

Note:

I had forgotten how odd the 2003 Rams SNF game was.

The Ravens held the Rams, who still had most of the skill players from the greatest shown turf, to 121 total yard including 48 yards on 20 carries for Faulk.

Faulk scored 2 short TDs early in the game on great field position due to a Boller INT and a punt return all the way to the 1 yard line. The rest of the Rams points were a 45 yard fumble return TD by Archuleta, and 4 FGs.

The Ravens had 7 turnovers (5 total by Redman & Boller) and Jonathan Ogden scored a TD on a 1 yard pass from Boller.

Just a bizarre game.

My man, I can't thank you enough for sharing those videos. As someone who wasn't old enough to remember Ray in his prime, I truly appreciate this.

More to come my man.

I have very fond memories of those games due to the fact I was ages 16-21 for Ray's prime.

Thanks Johnny, always fun to see McCrary and Boulware rushing, young Kelly Gregg, Suggs, Reed, Adalius, and of course the glory of Ray at his athletic peak. Crazy to think Ray's career could've been even better if we had anything other than just Eric Turner and Stevon Moore surrounding him 96-98. I could easily see us getting another ring in '01 if Jamal wasn't hurt, '03 if we had even an average QB, and '06 if McNair didn't have one of the worst games of his career. As it stands, the ring in '00 and Ray going out with another was pretty awesome.
