Spears is decent depth for cheap, but I think we're focusing a little too much on the 5 tech right now. Our linebacking corps is decimated, I'd feel a lot more comfortable if we had Dansby or Harrison on a good deal.

Upgrading the interior line should make up for our LB deficiencies...but you're right, quality players at that position are still a must. Idk why we aren't racing after Dansby, hell of a player

It depends on Dansby's asking price. I'd like to see him here as well, but at what cost. The longer he stays oon the market the better his price will suit the Ravens.

I agree with upgrading the Dline. If you get quality guys to occupy onlineman up front your ILBs can just run and tackle. If you are strong up front and on your edges, you won't need a stud at ILB.

I like the moves so far by the Ravens. Nice solid pickups that will go unnoticed until the Ravens are winning their 3rd straight North Title and 6th straight playoff run. Canty and Spears are just a older version of Mcphee and Art imo. So having those guys in a rotation should be good.

Danby would fit in great, and he would relish the oportunity to show the Dolphins who got the better of the swap. One-year deal only, though.

Big guys up front to fix our broken run defense (hate to say it but it was not good last year) and to help take some of the pressure off of Ngata who has been taking a pounding the past couple of years (and still making it happen).
