Wings

A tangent in one of the threads on RAVENS talk was on wings.
Not the 70's band but the yummy game day food.

What are some of your favorite wing places here and abroad ?

With out question in my mind, the best wings I have ever had was The Anchor Bar in Buffalo New York.

http://www.anchorbar.com/

Been there more than a few times and the wings are always cooked perfect, super meaty, great sauce with a wide range of heat.

Locally, believe it or not Outback Steakhouse really makes a fantastic wing.
I am also quite fond of Wings To Go wings.

Pizza Raven in Pasadena has AWESOME wings. I don't like slimy wings, I like crispy ones.

[/quote]I would say Buffalo Wild Wings, Hurricane Wings, and Duffy's sports bar make the best wings I've had at a restaurant. But my Uncle makes the best wings I've ever had, period.

I make my own once a week, football or no. Fried SUPER hard, Ashanti wing sauce, and cucumber ranch to dip them in. With the cost of oil, it's about the same as going out but I've never tasted better wings than the ones I make.

Also, Gooses in Indian Rocks Beach (Florida) has killer wings on the cheap.

My wife and I prefer smaller wings which is another reason I make my own. I can buy the smaller wings. Every wing joint tries to have JUMBO WINGS.

Size is not usually an issue, but there needs to needs to be some meat on the bone.
BWW has not offered that lately.

Buffalo Wild Wings and Planet Wings are my favorite chain places, though I definitely prefer the local places.

Best wings I've ever had, however, were at a place called "The Growler" in Westchester, NY
