Vollmer. Plug and play at LT, plus he can moved to his more natural RT position if we draft a LT. Perfect solution right there.

Honestly even a middling talent at LT helps us immensely. The reason being that Oher at RT and KO at guard is the real reason our line was as good as it was in the playoffs. I've heard quite a few analysts talk about how KO will be one of the top 3 guards in the NFL next year, provided he stays there.

Anything to keep Oher away from the left side is good with me.

Which is what Saffold is.
Same with Starks, Bell...

They are all solid players

i honestly don't see any O-Linemen in free agency that are worth what they'll get paid or even worth signing at all.

i would rather pick up someone like terron armstead, luke marquardt, xavier nixon, or chris faulk in the draft who can all be a solution at LT.

im really big on marquardt. hes pretty raw, but he could be a star LT in a couple years. armstead will probably go earlier. the other 2 are mainly right tackles, but they'll have good value later on.

if we decide to sign someone in FA, i would go with vollmer. however, its a long shot

Yup ...sebastian Vollmer seems like a guy to look into. Plays both left side & right side well. We all saw what he is capable of since his been w/ patriots for a long while

Saffold is not a free agent. You do know that right? Rams aren't going to let him go. They have a need in both on LT & RT. They are not getting rid of him.

I doubt we overpay RTs.

Well luckily it doesnt seem that anyone is in a rush to sign the top FA OTs. Hopefully that means their price tag will drop.

The FO needs to sign an OT who can play LT, if Oher is the only LT on the team that would leave us with no depth.

What the Rams do with Saffold is an intriguing prospect, will have to see how this pans out.
