Anyone remember about two years ago when everyone was saying he was going to be a bust, he couldn't catch anything, all he could do was a streak route, etc.

Then he went off against the rams and we havn't looked back since!

I remember watching that Rams game with one of my friends that I roomed with at Maryland.

I said as the game was starting "Wouldn't it be great if Torrey got his first catch for a touchdown" and my friend said he just wanted him to get a catch. He has had some great games.

Torrey's gonna be a beast for us next season. Caldwell knows his strengths/weaknesses and is going to put him in the best position to make a lot of big plays.

Yes. I remember that preseason it was about doss being over Torrey and the move to get lee Evans was because Torrey didnt seem ready just yet.

Torrey's improvement from then to now makes me want to give Hayward bey a try maybe him working with Torrey can lead to dhb improving his route running and his hands

What I loved about Torrey on twitter yesterday is he just did real talk ... talking to fans and trying to give perspective. None of that cliche' athlete talk ... just one dude who loves football talking to others who love football. He's just real .. know what I mean?

I sure wouldn't trade in a championship to keep teammates. Championships last while teammates come and go. If everyone wanted to win, then they should sign way under their value to make a formidable team. However, that isn't guaranteed either. Our Free Agents won a ring, so they can happily cash in as last year's champions.

I wanna get a Torrey Smith jersey since I go to UMD, but since Oz and the FO have a set number of money on certain players and arent willing to negotiate, I feel like I'd be jumping the gun. Torrey's one of my favorite Ravens because he leaves it all on the field and also does good work off the field and played extremely well through adversity.
