First of all, that was dry humor designed to make my view of our recent roster shifts clear. Second, are you saying we should have kept Cam?

Since we're on the subject of this insight clinic, you all might remember that before the season we hired someone to crunch stats on our our team performances, a la "moneyball". Some of our willingness to part ways with players might be part of a new approach to our team. We've also cut ties with coordinators who were brought in because of personal connections. A clinic to analyze strategy? Doesn't sound like something we've done before. The Ravens might be embracing a new way of thinking. No more keeping players simply because we "owe" them gratitude. No more "this is what we do because we've always done it".

Ozzie and front office shouldn't need to hold a press conference to calm the public. The Ravens fans should know how we operated by letting our free agents get overpaid and release players who are underperforming their contract. I doubt Boldin would've been trade if he has a 1000+ yds and double digit TDs. He made his money for the postseason, but not regular season.

Tackles are a misleading number. There where games when Cary was up there but that's due to him being attacked and tackling after racking up yards. Pro bowls also aee somewhat overrated in that its more of a popularity contest than actual production sometimes.
