Danny Amendola is a great WR in his prime (age 27) , and with the cap situation, the Ravens could make a splash here. But he is also injury prone. So, is he worth the risk?

i say give youth a try and use the guys we already have . surely one or two of them can match or exceed boldin in production.

They announced that all the reports were wrong. We apparently never had any interest in him.

Man, is that wishful thinking. Hope so, but seriously doubt any WR on our roster currently can match all that Q brought!

I hope these rumors are False. Amendola is ok, but if he gets signed for anything near the $6M ( 7.5M with bonuses ) Boldin was due I'll be mad because Amendola isn't even proven, or durable.

I like him but he's not worth the money he's asking for with the risks he brings.

In his limited time, he played very effective.

However, he's off the field way too much to warrant a big contract. Maybe a cheap 1 or 2 year deal like Jacoby Jones would be a good deal. However teams are probably going to overpay him.

Let me put it this way: If we are losing guys like Boldin and Pollard for the scrubly Amendola, Ozzie will have lost his mind.

If we lose gritty players like that who serve as a nucleus to the team I don't want a never-was like Amendola.

Despite the reports of Ravens interest in WR Danny Amendola, I continue to hear that they aren't pursuing him and never have

Jennings would be a big upgrade from Boldin, but Greg wants to get paid a huge contract. Reportedly the Packers already offered the guy a 10$mill contract. I don't see the Ravens matching that. The Ravens will go with the Draft. Maybe even trade up, imho.

Amendola has talent but he has the constitution of porcelain doll. So no to that.

I think if he goes anywhere it will be to the patriots. Perfect replacement for Welker who went unsigned and is a free agent, same college and everything. I think Welker would better fit the Jets then us. We need a big physical receiver who can fight for the ball like Boldin did so well. Most games Joe is a bit wild at the onset and usually his passes drift high.

I'm not as down on him as others but he wants way more than he is worth.

No... We can't lose all of our starters on d to sign this injury prone WR. Not interested whatsoever.
