Yeah, my sentiments exactly. I'm really confused by this move. Pollard was young, hit hard, a leader, smart & instinctive. He did have some cracked ribs & was playing through injuries as well as being OK in coverage but this really surprises me. I'm not in panic mode (come on, Irrev) but this is a shocking piece of information that really disappoints me.

There's something to be said for consistency. I am not sure what the reason is for letting someone like him go, but I really want to hear Ozzie address this move and I want to know his reasoning for it.

I am a little confused on this one - If we really really needed a couple of mill in cap space I would have been much more comfortable cutting Jameel McClain than Pollard.

I am sure there is a reason we will see soon, but I really did think Pollard was a steal and the enforcer of our defense. That will be tough to replace...Ihedigbo plays with the same fire but I am not sure it is worth it

One source says this is a sign we are close to a deal with Ed Reed. Love Ed but really, I'd rather have kept the younger Pollard if that was the only choice.
