Yea, it sucks to lose pretty much the whole team, but Ozzie clearly isnt an idiot and has never jumped into something without a plan. While I dont think he reloads with players BETTER than Kruger, Boldin, and Ellerbe, I am super curious to see who the new faces will be and what moves will be made in the draft.

Also, does someone know how much cap space there is after today?

Realistic Wishlist:

James Harrison
Danny Amendola
MLB?
MLB?

The team is getting a serious makeover and I expect this to be another off season of subtle, yet useful and effective moves.

How you guys feeling about the near future?

I'm excited to see our new team. I don't want Harrison; I think he is a dirty, unintelligent buffoon. Interested to see future moves.

We need to land a LT especially with the Browns front 7. Desmond Bryant was a hell of a signing

Harrison does not fit a huge need right now. The needs really are ILB, S, LT,DL, and WR

I'm very excited. This is the future of our franchise that the FO is setting us up for!

Younger, stronger, faster.

I agree entirely that those are more important needs, but I also dont think Upshaw is going to be a top notch pass rusher just yet. The Kruger/Upshaw combo was a nice compliment to Suggs, and right now, there is no combo. Its Upshaw and Suggs and nobody. Harrison should come cheap and replace the Kruger 3rd down role. Him and Suggs off the edge could be deadly, despite him being a steeler, the guy can play

I'm excited about a lot of people, just not Harrison. He doesn't seem like he fits the mold of the "Raven Way" at all. He's arrogant, dirty, off field drama, and seems like he'd be a cancer in the locker room. Hope the Ravens see that too.

Whats interesting with Harrison is that his agent stated he's talked to Ozzie about Harrison and apparently the talks were positive, to the agent of course.

I have a feeling if Harrison came to the Ravens, he'd have to have a super short leash. Any controversy, and he should be gone, fined, something. I can't imagine with the 'faith/Raven way' make-up of this team, Harrison would fit in.

I'm not worried about Kruger or Ellerbe, both had their limitations as players, Boldin too but his clutch jumpball catches are going to be very hard to replace.

I'd like to see which LB's we bring in (if any) I'm hoping for Erin Henderson.

My thoughts exactly. A stud left tackle and Ed Reed.

I think this whole process, from the outside looking in, is quite hilarious.

When you think about it, we are having discussions about drastically overpaid athletes getting paid even more.

Its not like his attitude ever prevented his team from winning in the playoffs though

I just love the chaos of it all. I like watching how players perform in a new look. Im actually excited to see Kruger in Cleveland and see if they become a competitive 8-8 team

I agree the dynamic of it and the repercussions are very very interesting. It's what makes it relevant that a team like the Eagles from a few years back underperforms like they did. It's what make it intriguing that a team like the Ravens contend year in and year out despite not being at the forefront of this veritable arms race.

That being said I hope Kruger flops in Cleveland. On paper though they are much improved
