I think I would be okay if he left. He's not worth 6 mil a year. Rays cap hit was only 6 mil for this coming year. He will get hurt and miss some games. Would love to see Nigel Carr get a chance out there. Maybe draft Hodges in the middle rounds this year. No need to put a lot of money in MLB

Just b/c he was hurt this year doesn't mean he will be next season. It's like your wishing an injury on him if he's not a Raven next season. Not cool.

Not at all wishing injury on him. He has missed time every year. Missed more time last year than this year. Given his past, injury is very possible, if not likely.

That's what it sounds like to me too. Contemplating whether he should follow the money and leave the team that gave him his shot in the league, got him his ring, or stay for a lesser paycheck.

I think he is important to keep not only for his play (when healthy) but his familiarity with the play book which will be huge with ray and maybe (reed) not there next year calling out the plays and audibles. With Mcclain coming off a serious injury Baltimore needs to keep ellerbee in the middle to solidify the defence

Just saw that on NFL Network too. Said they failed to meet a long term deal. I really hope we aren't shooting ourselves in the foot.
