There are already more free agents than money to pay them. Nobody's going after a restricted free agent this year. We can afford to low-ball a few tenders to keep the cap hit low.

One of the Ravens guys on Twitter noted that only once since 2008 has an RFA been picked up by another team. Luckily with the new CBA requiring 4 year deals for all rookies, we won't have to worry about the stupid process of RFAs anymore.

Hearing Ramon Harewood, David Reed, and Morgan Cox all expected to be non-tendered, resigned. Apparently the Ravens are interested in trying to get a multi-year deal for Cox before they make the decision to non-tender him.

So, pretty much some of us have been right in that regard. I know I was expecting Pitta & Jones to get 2nds, Dickson an original, and the rest non-tendered with Cox getting an extension. I'm really hoping Pitta gets a deal, though.

I really don't see any football team taking Dennis Pitta. Sorry. The only one would be the 49ers due to their abundance of picks & their 2nd round pick is nearly a 3rd.
