[/quote]i think any lt on the market is going for more then we can pay. ozzie will draft a lt and there are some very good prospects in the draft that are plug and play lt you don't pay a qb 120 and not protect him .

That's a great point...He might be able to be had for 8M a year range, which would be a steal.

Nah. I think we WERE $18Mish before tenders of like $5M or $6M and will need additional of about the same for our draft class. Maybe more since we have a good deal # of picks.

No. Its 18 million (and a little change) with no tenders. Its probably down to about 12-13M with the tenders.

[/quote]we lost boldin and if they were planning to sign ed reed he wouldn't need an agent . so yeah angry and ozzie is my least favorite person right now .i am greatful to the players for providing entertainment .i have had a psl every year since they were available i think i have a right to be angry

I'll just say this - we need to protect our huge investment at QB and this free agent class is asking for more money than is out there.

Well if you want a bit of a history on the guy, he has a problem staying healthy, but he's produced with some pretty lackluster quarterbacks i.e. Bradford and the train wreck Philip Rivers has become. I think given what he's done, and given the way Jacoby went from Shaub to Joe and the difference it made, that if Alexander did become a Raven and stayed healthy he could do something similar. I know everybody, including me, see's 6'5" and thinks "James Hardy", but Alexander could be a good fit here. I just don't get though what an original round tender on an undrafted free agent even means - it sounds like we could just take him and not have to give anything in return.
