Under $2 million - 100%

Between $2 million and $3 million - 50%

Over $3 million - 0%
i guess it will depend on the money too... but for how many years as well... he'd like 2-3, we would go for 1-2

A 9 million in 2 seasons contract sounds about right. I think he might still be worth 4,5 million a year. Anything in the 5 million dollar range and over seems like a lot for a guy so close to retirement with injury issues.

Is it good karma to sign a former Steeler? Does it make sense to bring him into our locker room?
We had Dixon on our PS and we won a Super bowl. Hmmm..perhaps that is the key...didn't we have a former Steeler on our SB team for SB35 too??? Wait...I could be on to something here....

Sign him now. We don't actually have to play him....but....we had Woodson, won a SB. Had Dixon...won a SB. Yep, sign this man!

Now that I've gotten over the initial shock of us talking to Harrison, I have to say it'd be pretty cool to have him here. He and Suggs could wreck quarterbacks if they're healthy. Just don't know if Harrison can stay healthy.

Though, it's weird for us to cut Pollard for being a head case, and then pursue Harrison.
As I stated in the beginning of this thread, I have no problem with Harrison here other than money. I was concerned he might want too much. He would be a good signing. If we can get him for 3.5M a year, then that's a good deal for us. He would give us a legit pass rusher opposite of Suggs who is still very good. Harrison is not a bad player.

Harrison trash talks but he doesn't seem like the kind to disrespect the coach, so any Pollard-like outbursts I feel would be a non-issue.

We can let him out for the Steelers' games. I'm sure he'd like to smack Big Ben around a bit lol

he was ineffective last year, but that's probably due to injuries. if he has a bounce back year on a 2-3 mil per year contract, id be happy

his @ a age where you'll see wear & tear.

he'll be in a limited role, but effective. if we bring him back, he'll be for 2 year stop gap.

Wasn't he pretty effective from week 10 on? He was his usual self in our game, stuffing the run and strip sacking Flacco.

let's hope that translates to this year. if not, i'd be pretty disappointed.

he would be a good 2 year role player until we figure out the long term solution for OLB. suggs will prolly leave after next year, and upshaw still needs to prove he can rush the passer. harrison will be a good short term solution if he still has any gas left in the tank.

Im pretty sure Harrison is going to become a Raven, so we have to deal with it. Plus side it will be funny watching him sack Big Ben, i know his personality his hard to deal with but you can't deny that he plays with that toughness and can rush the QB!

I would welcome James Harrison in with open arms. We need someone to replace Kruger for a year or 2. I think Harrison and Sizzle would do great together and they do have similar personalities. I say make the move if we can and if not then we can address it in the draft or later in FA.

If he did come I wonder how cheap, and how flat out angry he would come in. That first Steeler game would be nasty I'm sure.

If we thought our Ts were no match for him, imagine Gilbert and Adams...

He is really pissed at the Steelers from what I'm read. I would hope that game is opening day. A healthy Harrison and Suggs knocking Roethlisberger out for a few games is a great way to start a season.

Would definitely ease our pain that's for sure. Though I just don't know why we'd sign a 35 year old OLB with knee and back issues if we're purging the defense to get faster.

The Steelers offered Harrison 5 million and he turned it down.

How? Do they even have that available? Source please.

Wow. He turned that down? So many rumors and mis-information this time of year. Smh, who knows what the truth is.

I really don't understand why he'd want to come here after seeing the purge. Right now the Ravens aren't looking like a team capable of repeating. But I'd love to see him in a Raven uniform. Teams would have to account for his pass rushing ability. That would open up so many opportunities for Suggs, Canty, Jones, and Ngata.

I think he might do some good, he is what 34? Still at that age just look at him, he is always in great shape he is built like a machine. He just seems like the type that ages well, plus I bet he has a drive after being cut.
