What are the odds of James Harrison being a Raven?

201 posts in this topic

I seen the Ravens were on the list of teams that could sign him. That possibly he would take a fair salary just to reck some havoc on the Steelers for cutting him. I think it would be awesome Suggs and Harrison, man that would be nasty IF they both are healthly. So, could this possibly be a guy the Ravens might actaully sign? or will he command to much of the a;readly limited salary cap?

Well, let's see...Harrison was cut because of his pay. So, I am guessing here that he thinks he is still worth some good money. Otherwise, I am guessing he would have taken a pay cut. With that knowledge, and knowing our cap, I would agree with Arnie. We have very little likelihood of signing Harrison.

Or, you can just say "zero".

James said he would love to play for the Browns. I could see him going there if Kruger goes to Indy. This according to Rotoworld.

Not a great pass rusher anymore.......

If it were Woodley, Id take him in a heartbeat regardless of the remarks towards Flacco

Would love it.....but statistically its a .034% chance..

Don't debate me on that number...I'm a math genius

Being a fellow math genius I have to concur with Legend's assessment.

Zilch. He has a crap attitude and still wants to be paid like a premier pass rusher. There's a reason the Ravens cut him in the first place.

Absolute Zero. Seriously?
He's not Raven material (that's why he was cut by our FO at the beginning of his career) and he will cost way too much (he was cut for refusing to take a pay cut).

I think Purp was saying that there's no chance of him coming here. "Seriously" was more of a way of saying "Why are we even asking this?" At least, that was my interpretation.

Well, he was a Raven back in the day, before we cut him two or three times... but I think he's too old and hasn't been getting it done recently. Oh, and he's pretty much despised in Bmore.

Fat woodley is terrible. Soon as he got paid, he gained weight and stopped comming to TC.

Im glad he was overpaid. He have shown his a scam w/o James Harrison on the other side.

My most disliked player in the NFL.
Just the thought of it.. :argh:
Meh, think it's reasonable that your dislike is more the fact that he was a Steeler? I'd love to have him play for us. Why wouldn't you want a dominant pass rusher who can also lay down the law against the run? Only thing is he's older and will demand a decent contract

If we somehow couldn't resign Ellerbee, then I could possibly see him as a one year rental.I like guys with a chip/something to prove.

Do we have a before and after picture of when Harrison was cut by the Ravens and went off to Europe?

I swear his head got Barry Bonds big...

Saw somewhere on Twitter that there's mutual interest between the Ravens and Harrison. Apparently Harrison is looking for a bit of revenge.

Seems like his head was always huge.

I'd be fine with Harrison as a Raven. The sack numbers aren't there but he can still get after the QB.

The Browns are considering Harrison, Kruger, and Ellerbe in free agency. I really don't see any of them returning to us. Our best bet is to get a few good draft picks. At least we will get compensatory picks next year for Kruger and Ellerbe.
