The part that really bugs me is the organization comes out of this looking bad. I'm sure they new the day after the Super Bowl they weren't going to pay Boldin $6 million next year but then Boldin comes out and makes his statement that he will not play for another team. Now we look bad like we were taking advantage of the situation. I just hope Boldin left on good terms and not feeling like the Ravens screwed him over.

He's a run blocking and pass catching fullback who is a key piece in ensuring the success of your run game. While Q makes flacco better, neither are effective without a run game.

hes lucky if he sees 30 percent of the snaps and with the money they've just threw flacco that could drop. He's not worth the money for the time he's on the field

This thread makes me sick. Not just because Anquan went to a team I dislike, but because of the attitudes around here. Way too much complaining. Wow. I can't believe I agree with Heath Evans right now.

Yeah, it sucks. Anquan's gone. Get over your denial. People have been saying this for months. We were criticized for it. I know I was. I didn't want Anquan gone, but he's gone. Nothing you can do but either continue to care or don't. Whatever. Ravens are still my football team.

You have the right to be upset, but really? 0-16? Losing season? Anquan was good but let's not kid ourselves here. Was he instrumental in us winning the big one? Yeah. Did he make critical plays throughout the playoffs and regular season to even get us here? Yeah. But come on. Stop complaining now. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. Work your way through these stages.

We aren't done. Heck, maybe we trade for Benn or something. We have a ton of young talent here. You have to see if they can play. Boldin was old and made a lot of money. He's awesome, but you must see what you have from your young guys. Sometimes you roll dice and you win and then sometimes you lose. Just keep rolling!

Why does everyone think Leach is replaceable? You think Pierce would have been as good without him?

A lot of Pierce's runs came out of single back formations. Leach is the best FB in the league, but he is still on the field for less than 40% of the teams snaps. He gets payed an awful lot for his minimal role.

People need to wake up. I'm sorry Boldin's gone. I liked him, too. But if you were too blind to see the writing on the wall, well..I don't know. I among others have been saying for a while Boldin would be gone. Nobody wanted to accept it. I prepared myself for this. I knew it would happen--well, not 100% but it was a hunch.

Guys, we've invested many picks into WRs recently. You had to see this coming. Only a 4th or 6tth round pick? Draft picks are valuable no matter the pick. They're like gold. Ozzie doesn't cut his draft picks. Not usually. Very rare for him to do it.

And also, won't you all look stupid who say Doss is no good if the guy blows it up as Boldin said he would when he was gone? I know you're emotional over the loss of Boldin, but wake up and realize the world hasn't fallen, Chicken Little. I'm sick of the complaining.

At least Ozzie knows how to make the offseason interesting. But with 2 SBs, he knows what he's doing. We're just beginning here.

I never claimed they were catches no other WR could make but they are examples of him making plays, something folks like to pretend he's never done.

He's not the next Q. But he's got the talent to be a solid WR if given a shot. And at this stage in theirs careers, I can't imagine he'd struggle getting open more than Boldin.

Ha. I think you will find you are in the minority in thinking in that. You really care who our number 3 WR is? We got faster with our starting 2 Wide outs and we will utilize more 2 tight end sets. That is not a downgrade, it is an upgrade. Torrey and Jacoby were getting a lot of attention in post season which in some cases helped Q get open a lot.

Omar's nick name given to him by the defense is Baby Reed. You need to get on the field to actually show what you got.

So, if you want to be short sighted, than yeah, I guess that was the worst comment of the day. But we need to stay young so we can compete every year, not dump money into aging guys who are a shadow of themselves.
