I have no Idea what the record for INT return yardage is for one game, but Reed's other pick went back for 43 yards, which means his total for the day is a staggering 151 yards. That's gotta be close, right?
No, sadly not. It was Charlie McNeil, with 177. And that was in 1961.

Ed Reed is just so dang fast.
He caught the ball and was up to full speed by the time he EXITED the end zone.

Ed Reed is simply amazing. Our secondary has played great to me the last two games! Samari Rolle shows flashbacks of his former self from time to time and it looks like he breaks on the ball pretty damn good(I thought Samari was washed up).Fabian is loooking good also, we need to lock him up for a long term deal. With the speed he has, I can see him running lots of picks back for TDs, especially with how our D plays!
That was awesome, I didnt scream or anything like I normally do, I was just in awe.

Also we shut the Eagles out in my eyes, no points on offense for them, they had that one lucky kick return.. err...
I couldnt scream in the press box. All I could do was let out a slight screech and clap to myself.
Ed Reed does it again in 2004 fashion. He took it from endzone to endzone, although it took all of his might to get there. The Raven's after this game will be on NFL highlight's all week long, so for those fan's looking for a little respect from the media, you will get it this week.

Let's go RAVENS!!! :D  :D
this was a SPECTACULAR PICK! I couldnt believe it! I was there at the game and trust me when I say this...when he got to the 50yrd line NO ONE thought he was going to take it to the house.

NEW NFL RECORD BABY! Ed Reed already held this record with a 106yrd int for those of you that didnt know.
P.S. I wore my black Reed jersey today... I could feel something in the air because I knew Ed was due for a big day and boy did he deliver!
I was wearing mine too, the only other two times I have worn it on game day was the first Cleveland game where he returned that pick for six, hmmm...

The other time was during the Colts game, didn't turn out as well as the other two occasions.

I left the room for a second, because I thought the Eagles were going to score. I come back into the room and I see Reed on the ten yard line the other way! Just incredible. It's nice to see him playing in top form.

I saw that one play where he was blitzing, he stopped and waited for Kolb or McNabb to throw. He leaped and tipped the ball. He is a true ballhark in the best fashion.
i think it'd be cool to see him get more punt returns once hes healthy, hes sooo explosive
He needs to put a halt to lateralling the ball everytime. He likes to do that on punts as well. I think this is the first time it happened under Harbs term as coach, so maybe Harbs will get it into Reed's head, don't lateral!

Nooooooo thank you. We've tried that, it doesn't work. If they blew him up on one single play, we'd see the end of Ed Reed's career. Furthermore, he has a tendency to lateral the ball at the worst times. He's fine where he is right now.

I agree with your point as well. Why would we want Reed taking hits, if not needed? He's a great safety, lets keep him healthy.

My reaction, pretty much word for word as I was watching Mr. Awesomesuperfantastic aka Ed Reed make this play:

"OH NO!!! THAT'S THE BEST SAFETY IN THE WORLD!! BYE!! SEE YA!! TO DA CRIB! TO DA CRIB!! TO DA CRIB!! NO SIR, YOU AIN'T CATCHING HIM!! PEACE!! PEACE!! THAT'S THE REASON WHY REED IS BETTER THAN POLUMALU!! THAT'S THE REASON WHY HE'S BETTER THAN SANDERS!!"

yes, I am a screamer when it comes to watching football.

It was awesome!!!

I thought he was going to try to hand it off again at the end of the run, but luckily he held onto it that time. I can't always hear the questions at the press conference afterwards, but it seemed like at least one reporter thought the same thing I did, but Reed said something about the other guy just telling him to watch the other team coming up on his right.

Also, during that press conference, I think someone asked him about baiting the other team and he kind of laughed and asked why everyone thinks he does that. He just seemed so humble and nice. I love it when a good player also seems to be a nice person. Dallas can have TO and his 200+ yards but bad attitude.

An absolutely incredible performance!!

He has tried to hand the ball off a couple of times this year. I hope he gets out of doing that. It's a bit too scary and could bite us in the a**!!

There must have been a phone booth in the end zone cause I saw Ed Reed run in to the endzone, then all of a sudden Super Man was running out as fast as a speeding bullet and more power than a Locamotive! :o

Believe or not, sometimes Ed tells Coach to put him back there, if the game is close/ on the line.... even if it is just to fair catch, I trust Ed more than Yamon at this point... but overall, I don't want him back there returning, but he rushes the punter and could get hurt doing that too.
