It's really frustrating. They both rarely change their approach in situations where all they have to do is advance a runner or get a guy in from 3rd. Always trying to swing for the fences. It's obvioulsy had a lot of positive outcomes, but there are more times than I can count where they hurt the team too. They could be such better players with better approaches at the plate.

So, whose bright idea was it to start out the 2014 season with a 2 game series against the Red Sox? Granted I like the fact the O's start at home but a 2 game home stand followed by a 6 game road series against Detroit and the Yankees. That is crazy.

Also, if the Ravens win the Super Bowl, again we will run into the same issue as the O's play a 10 game home stand from August 25th to Thursday September 4th.

LOL get out of here, kid. Man that Davis HR was perfect timing. Manny was going off on that ump for something. Get Gonzo out of there. We get him all those hits and  he freaks out because it's after the 5th inning.

It's sad that in 15 years the best starting pitcher this organization has developed is Erik Bedard. I see Gausman gave up another 3 runs and the game tonight. I just got on and checked the box score. It seems like aces are popping up just about everywhere now and we can't find one that can hang on to the 5th spot in the rotation. We can be good but not great until we develop some decent pitchers.

yeah that was pretty crushing. Cant believe we threw it away. Pitching has been our downside all year. At least we can witness Chris Davis break the Brady Anderson HR record. In my opinion, that one doesn't count since he was roiding. A Roid shouldn't even be playing, but that's baseball for ya.
