I'm not usually the one to do this but I'm throwing in the towel... We have a great young core for the future. It's not our year but at least I feel comfortable knowing this franchise is heading in the right direction. Still a lot of baseball to be played and this might just be reactionary, but I'm trying to be realistic here and I can't see us making the playoffs.

 

It's a real shame too with all the talent we've got... Can't put blame on one player. We can't hit in the clutch, can't get consistent pitching, and can't close. Hopefully we spend a little bit in FA. Get us a 2B, DH and TOR. 

 

I think we would have to go 27-15 to match last years record, something like that. Can't see us doing it. :(

Thanks to losing the series to TB, they Rays are now currently the division leader and BAL is now just 1 game ahead of the surging Yankees.
