Evidently you can play the Pirates in a 10 inning scoreless game and then walk off the field. I know there is no crying in baseball but there are tie games.

Yeah, no reason to wear players out in the spring. I guess they decided yo make up for the lack of scoring today.

Orioles aren't wining the division this year, but they could still get one of the lower seeds. It will all depend on if and who rebounds this season. The White Sox and Cleveland come to mind.

The Orioles were close last year. They have updated I feel and look as great as they did last year. I am excited and think they are contenders in the Division.

If we have plenty of good pitchers maybe not as good as the premier Aces that some squads have but if some of the good pitchers we have elevate to very good pitching Aces and we can stay healthy - I have no doubt that this team could win the division. I know that I am starting this season very optimistic!

I think the top 3 teams in our division are The Orioles, Rays and Jays.

I can see 2/3 make the playoffs.

[/quote] It's going to be tough for any AL East team to make it as a wildcard this season. The Houston Astros are moving from the NL to the AL West and they are going to be horrible. The unbalanced schedule means AL East teams only get to play the Astros 6 times each while AL West teams play them 19 times. I think the Os are going to have to win the division to make the playoffs, but if the young pitchers come through, I think they can.

[/quote] Also the Twins are going to be awful in the AL Central, giving that division a better chance at the wildcard. But I would be less surprised to see the Os win the East this year than I was to see them win 93 games last year, so I'm keeping the faith.

It really is. Buster Olney said the AL East standing will look like ... Orioles,Jays,Rays,Yankees,Sox. And then he quickly followed up by saying he wouldn't be surprised if it were completely flipped. Basically said the division is up for grabs.

Davis 40 HRs.
