I've always hated Seattle too *throws up*

Why, too hipsterish?

To keep this on topic, I think all of this smack talk will help to keep the Ravens motivated, much like the Giants in 2011. An us-against-the-world mentality can work wonders on the psyche of a competitor.

No. Bad city in general.

As long as Flacco is here. We will be SB contenders.

While I'm here in SF, I took that man off his couch and I'm sitting on it. Bringing bad luck to them. :P

You've rolled in Puget?

As for your main point, I'd argue that Flacco must be well-equipped to continue his legacy. Without playmakers like Boldin and Smith, he has no one to throw to. It's crucial that the front office continues their successful WR program.

Love the fact that he acts Suggs is a nobody and "was nothing before the NFL helped him"

Davis does know he won DPOY last year right and tore it up as soon as he entered the league

Players follow their leader.. I'd say we got the right Harbs

He should ask Donte Whitner who won. He seemed to have a great view of how the game went down:

Just watched the sf highlights and Suggs was over staley almost the entire time. Davis was on the right side and most times assigned to jones. On the td pass to crabtree Suggs was over Davis and Suggs was double teamed. So not sure why Davis is acting like he played a role in stopping Suggs

Excuse me while I LOL!!

Why do the 49ers whine so hard?? It's an organizational staple at this point.
[/quote]

Honestly, this attitude comes straight down from their Head Coach. Do you think if the positions were reversed that John would have stood up in his post game press conference and said "well, I hate to go there, but you have to go there. It was definitely a missed holding call on that last play". I don't see him doing that at all. Jim's a whiner, he's made his players whiners, and from all reports from fans of other teams, all their fans are whiners too. It's convenient that Niners rhymes with Whiners.

I have to agree .. they mimic Jimbaugh's sideline behavior. ANd it's not just a couple guys either. One of the biggest offenders is one of the guys who should be stepping up and stopping that crap, Frank Gore. But he's pretty much one of the worst. To hear him tell it, every team they have ever lost to have been inferior to them.

I swear, I had NO idea how hated the 49ers are in the NFL amongst fans. No idea at all until they lost and the hate trains pulled up with a dozen teams' fans hammering the 49ers and calling them the "Forty-Whiners". I mean, how annoying does your team have to be when you have Pittsburgh Steeler fans taking the side of Ravens' fans and hammering on the 49ers?

I agree with the sentiment that the overall bad attitude there comes from the coach. Maybe "the handshake" wasn't all hype afterall. Oh well they are kissing their success goodbye anyway by going with Kaepernick over Smith. If im a betting man, im betting that DC's across the NFL are cooking up new ways to stop that pistol/option..whatever they want to call it.
Once that happens, they are screwed. Our Ravens players alluded to it many times that their offense outside of the option plays is pretty predictable.

Anyway, let them keep exposing theirself as pretenders. It just makes us look that much better

Had the discussion prior to,the Super Bowl on the sfmb. The read option, the pistol, etc is not something that will take an elaborate scheme to stop. Colleges stop those offenses all the time.

What makes qbs like kaep dangerous is when a stunt or game is ran by the defense on a drop back pass and outside contain is lost. Kaep can throw and he can run out of any drop back set. He is more of a threat than Alex smith was and that's why it was a good decision by them.

On top of that, John says many times that Jim's players are the reflection of Jim's personality......

Good or bad this is true of all top coaches.

Jim isn't as obnoxious as Rex Ryan especially when it comes to Super Bowl predictions and declaring themselves the greatest ever, but if we ignore Jim's name and read through the complaints/critiques about him alot of it seems Rex ryanesque
