(trade 1st round pick for early 2nd round pick and 4th round pick)

2A) Arthur Brown, ILB Kansas State
- excellent replacement for Ray Lewis .. great value in early 2nd round.. in my opinion the best ILB in the whole draft class. I don't like Te'o, Olgetree, or Minter.. Brown reminds me of Navorro Bowman

2B) D.J. Swearinger, FS, South Carolina
- replacement for Ed Reed.. big hitter.. pretty good coverage

3) Chris Faulk, OT, LSU
- falls to 3rd round due to injury .. will compete for LT spot.. Bryant Mckinnie isn't getting res-signed... and We cannot have a competition of Jack Cornell, Jah Reid, and Ramon Harewood for LT.. that's a joke... Michael Oher can't play LT either .. he played really poorly there this year

4A) (traded pick) Tank Carradine, DE, FSU
- EXCELLENT value in early 4th round .. before his injury, he was an amazing pass-rusher and definite 1st rounder.. also plays good on special teams

4B) Shamarko Thomas, SS, Syracuse
- We're almost definitely going to lose Sean Considine and James Ihedigbo due to the cap .. we need SS depth..

4C) (Comp pick) Dwayne Gratz, CB, Connecticut
Excellent sneaker CB.. will provide depth for the position .. Cary Williams is gone

5) Kwame Geathers, NT, Georgia
Good potential at NT .. will compete with Terrence Cody and probably a Vet FA .. at the very least provides depth as a run stuffer

6A) Michael Williams, TE, Alabama
Billy Bajema will probably be gone .. Williams would be a very good blocking TE for our run-game

6B) (Comp pick) Joe Kruger, DE, Utah
has potential, being from a football family .. will provide depth at DE

7) Davonte Holloman, OLB, South Carolina
Very good special teams player .. we will need him on coverage etc as we'll probably be losing Sean Considine and other starters due to the cap .. also provides depth at OLB .. former safety

We're not going to be losing Sean Considine or Ihedigbo. Their combined cap hit is only 1.2 mill or something like that. Other than that, nice draft.

With us inevitably having to use the $20 m dollar franchise tag on Flacco, and Ellerbe being a re-signing priority, I think we have to be extremely conservative. I am fully against cutting vets like Anquan Boldin and Vonta Leach who are CRUCIAL to our offence. I know Leach might not be used as much as he was before, with our improved passing game. However, he is the reason our run game is effective (besides the O-line). I think we have to be very conservative and sensitive with our cap.

I like some of your picks but man...you're making too many mock drafts too soon. There's little anticipation or excitement for me to read this. I'd recommend you give it more than 2 days to make another mock draft. I'm surprised you haven't been lynched by less inhibited members, lol.

Just give it some time before you post another mock. One a week is even a lot. Try one a month, or before major events, etc.

Preach it brother!! I'm feeling you for sure!! Mel Kiper is wrong 50% of the time,so the average Joe will be 99% wrong.

Yeah, I'm working my second version of my mock draft for after the combine. My first one was posted Jan 21st, so I haven't done one over a month. I certainly agree that Mocks should be done in more timely manner, doing it frequently hurts them a bit.

I posted two so far. One Post-Senior Bowl, one pre-combine (I wanted to see how I predicted draft stock). I'll do another one when I feel ready. It takes a lot of work. I watch actual games and key in on the prospects I like from the games and then watch more. I also look at lists of underrated small school prospects to see who gets rated high and then try to watch games of those guys. It's not just a "I go to Walter Football and look at where they project players and that's where I slap them into the round!"

I'm not berating the OP. I don't believe in diminishing someone's ideas. I hope he understands that. I just wanted to give him some insight, so people appreciate his mocks and don't just skip over them.

He's getting healthy and will not make it out of the first round. You can take that to the bank.

Okay, thanks for letting me know. I apologize. It's just draft time is my favorite time of the year (besides the offseason) and it's fun to make mocks. I won't post as many within a close range. Thanks, again

Oh, it's no problem. I wasn't saying it as a negative. I think you know that, but just in case I want you to know. I just don't want you to receive the same flack Brandon22 gets, lol.

But I did like your picks.

Brandon22 is the mock draft MVP! He posted atleast 10 in a row before starting to get his threads locked lol Not to mention the number of times he changed them.

I think everyone should do a single post combine mock then wait till march 30th or so after free agency and pro days come and go. Teams have started the restructuring and cap sorting situations, the Ravens are definitely going to have to free up some space in the coming weeks, I feel like we might lose some guys like Anquan, McKinnie, Reed, Ellerbe...who knows how it will pan out

I could never do a mock draft. So many things change and a lot of people here see things I just don't, so I'll wait for Mayock.
