That's not the way it happened in the book. Jeyne's mother was giving her moon tea, or whatever it's called, to make sure she wasn't getting pregnant and set up marriages to lords with Tywin Lannister. Yes, Robb Stark's wife was technically alive in the book, but she was no longer going to play a role in the story (not that she or Robb ever had a big role in the books).

Oona Chaplin's character was Talisa, who I found more interesting than Jeyne.

And I'm not sure the Blackfish was even at the Red Wedding, an escape from that seems illogical. I believe he was the one left in charge at Riverrun.

Does this thread contain spoilers (from the book) or is it safe to read? I know I know I should have read the books but I've never had time, sadly. The TV series is one of the best out their, gutted it's finished, when does season 4 start?

I'm terrible with character names but my question is about the red wedding. The woman who the uncle marries ends up being beautiful. Was that one last jab at Rob Stark or was she really one of the old man's daughters? It really wouldn't make sense for her to be one of his actual daughters 1) because she is not ugly and 2)it would be a waste of his one pretty daughter considering her husband will either be killed or locked away forever.

I don't think there is anything to read into it...I'm pretty sure she was an actual daughter. Her being pretty just makes for a happier and more trusting mood. And its not a waste considering there was no time to consummate the marriage.

Edmure wasn't killed, he's still married to Roslin.  The events occurred after the happy couple retired for the bedding ceremony, so the marriage was consummated.  You have to remember that Walder Frey is a prideful man, and had been hoping to 'bag a Tully' for one of his brood for quite some time now.

Essentially, the Lannisters are using him to ensure the loyalty of the lords of the Riverlands.

That makes sense. Exactly what Rob should have done with that guy he executed.

With season 4 being a while away, I'm wondering if there's enough time for me to go to drama school, graduate, audition for a part on the show and get to kill Walder Frey. I'm from the same hometown as Rose Leslie (Ygritte), so maybe she'd help me out.

Kinda surprised they made a cast change for Daario Naharis.  I thought the original guy and Dany had some chemistry.
