I've missed so many episodes.  I guess I'll just have to wait for it to come out on DVD. -_-

Do you have HBO Go?

I cant wait for the finale. Last week was awesome! I just cant imagine that the Lannisters can be soo powerful but then be soo dysfunctional at the same time. Tyrion wants everyone dead, as does Cersei...who the hell knows what theyve got going on against each other... Throwing Littlefinger in the mix too? As Verys says..he came from nothig.. The Lannisters have to crumble from within...I think..lol. Never read to books. Arya needs to get to Braavos! Seems The Hound isnt going to let her go until he finds a bidder. The Tyrells are very ambitious. I still think they want to get rid of Joffrey.

I guess I'll have to pull for Dany right now, I too "like the curve of her a....".

Havent read the books but Id imagine that the ensuing events will proceed as so.

Lannisters take unopposed control of the Kingdom

Arya goes to Bravos and trains with the assasins

Kid stark goes to train as a warg and fully realizes his power (which will play a key role in the ensuing battle for power).

Daenarys continues to assemble her army of slaves and buys time allowing her dragons to mature further.

The Whitewalkers attack slaughtering the Night's watch.

This forces the Lannisters to devote forces to battling the white walkers leaving them vulnerable

Daenarys attacks (hopefully naked)

She is able to usurp the throne from the Lannisters due to their weakness and take out the white walkers thanks to her dragons

Kid Stark masters his warg powers and allys with another house to obtain an army claiming that he can take out the dragons via his powers (wildings or the Bravosi via Arya perhaps?). They usurp the throne from Daenarys.

Oh I pity the fool the doesn't have HBO Go, but even then there are other ways.

As it stands in the show right now, Littlefinger has left for the Eyrie.  I don't know how exactly the Tyrells will be handled in the show, but the only intelligent one from their lot is Lady Olenna.  They're ambition without intelligence and balls.  One final spoiler free point, the Hound was willing to save Sansa if you recall.  He is not the beast he appears to be.

Don't we all.

Daenarys continues to assemble her army of slaves and buys time allowing her dragons to mature further.

Daenerys' army is not an one of slaves, and that's a very important point to make.  She killed the Wise Masters of Astapor and is currently attacking Yunkai in the show in order to free the slaves.

I've watched like 20 reaction videos now, these are hilarious.  People are so mad bro.

It's gonna happen when you kill off an entire segment of the show, particularly one that was portrayed as the good guys.

The scene was actually based on an event that took place in Scotland. Don't know how to feel about that.

I don't know if everyone has seen it yet, it might be best to use spoiler boxes for the time being.  This one is one of the really big ones.

The Hound can have a soft side, at the end of th day though... he's a grunt. He needs a leader, or some gold. Littlefinger departed for Eyrie... but nothing he does is just because... I think he has another mission at hand!

She keeps freeing all of these slaves, eventually that's going to tick some people off.

Margerie isn't stupid, Olenna certainly isn't. She's plotting an attack against the Lannisters, that's for certain. Maybe not a war but something will go down

Me for a time.  I'm more disappointed though, there are some things they could have done better.

Spoiler about the latest episode:
I think the real tragedy of the Red Wedding in the show is that Richard Madden died instead of Kit Harrington.  I think he was far superior in his portrayal of Robb Stark and I wish he would have been cast as Jon Snow instead.  Whether through scripting (which is a problem to some degree) or bad acting, Kit makes Jon Snow seem like a whiney little brat.  Jon was supposed to be the hero archetype and should have been portrayed as a capable man of the Night's Watch.
So I missed GoT on Sunday, just moved into my new house.

Just watched the Red Wedding episode. I get that TV or movies won't match book but I've never understood killing off characters that might have an impact in other books that are still being written.

Also, this show has no love for the GreatJon Umber. I have a fever, the only cure is more Umber.

Couldn't agree more. That part made that scene make less sense to me. I don't really care about movies//shows being accurate adaptations, but that's a bit stupid if you ask me.

Those characters clearly weren't going to have an impact, that's why they were killed.  I find the fact that no one is safe rather thrilling
Even then, outside of Ned's death in the first season there haven't been any major characters killed off IMO.  Him and Catelyn were the only POV characters, and I found her so irritating that I celebrated her death.  Robb was only expanded in the show because they liked the actor's portrayal of him so much.

Interestingly enough, that also worked in reverse.  Osha's part in the books has apparently been expanded because Martin liked the way she was portrayed in the show.
i don't think the young female would have played a huge part even if she did survive.

Just preventing people from knowing who said character is, if they haven't watched episode nine yet.
Even halfway through the fifth book we don't know what role Arya will ultimately play, but her plot does get more interesting.  Sansa's does as well.  Her, Arya, and Jaime's chapters in Book 4 were the only ones I enjoyed.  The rest of that mess could be thrown out and you'd miss virtually nothing.
Tell me Ramsay dies.

I wouldn't want to spoil it.

What a boring way to end the season.  They should have set up more exciting cliffhangers like they did last season.

Ep 9 is the action finale, has been since the show first aired. Ep 10 is basically the beginning of the next season. The Danys scene was powerful !

It's been a week so spoilers are off.

I was talking about Jeyne Westerling. Or whatever HBO calls Oana Chaplins character. In the book the Blackfish escapes with her and it is rumored Robb's heir is inside her.

HBO basically shut the door on that happening.

I figured you were referring to this. It makes no sense. I really don't like that they killed her. It made little sense because she can still play a role.

That's not the way it happened in the book.  Jeyne's mother was giving her moon tea, or whatever it's called, to make sure she wasn't getting pregnant and set up marriages to lords with Tywin Lannister.  Yes, Robb Stark's wife was technically alive in the book, but she was no longer going to play a role in the story (not that she or Robb ever had a big role in the books).

Oona Chaplin's character was Talisa, who I found more interesting than Jeyne.

And I'm not sure the Blackfish was even at the Red Wedding, an escape from that seems illogical.  I believe he was the one left in charge at Riverrun.

I don't see it that way. She had little to no role in the books and wasn't going to have one as far as I can tell. The heir to the king in the north means little.

Maybe Robb has an illegitimate ?
