Great player, he had a really good season and responded well after what happened in the AFC championship game last year. He is leaving at the right time, on top. Hope he enjoys retirement like we enjoyed him playing here. Best of luck!!

Good Luck Birk, you were a key part of the puzzle to helping Baltimore hoist another Lombardi. I'm curious, this guy has been to 6 Pro-Bowls and has played throughout his career at a high level? Does he have a chance to get into Canton one day?

Best of Success to you #77!! Thanks for the leadership, dedication, professionalism and being the anchor of the O-line. We could not have obtained our goal without you. You will be missed but most of all you will remembered and honored as one of the All Time Great Ravens!!!

Congrats and thanks to Mr Birk. A true renaissance man.
Does anyone know anything about Reggie Stephens? We have him on reserve. He is young and big: 6'3'' 320 lbs.

Not sure exactly what qualifies for Canton. Football, unlike baseball, seems to have extremely fuzzy parameters, especially for O line positions. Certainly not first-ballot, but he could be an eventual entry.

Whether they enshrine him in Canton or not, I anticipate he will eventually be in our ring of honor and be forever a Raven.

Really an amazing player, and person. I'm excited to see Gino step up and have a UD center snappin to a UD QB!

Also, the $2mil saved on the salary cap doesn't hurt...
