Because he isn't physically capable of enduring a full season as the starter.

That's why I like the three-back system; it prevents wear-and-tear on the primary starter, since there's a constant rotation, and it keeps all three guys relatively fresh throughout the season.

I'm amazed that the Eagles stuffed McClain on 3rd down. I think the injury to Bunkley sort of stopped the momentum for the Ravens, ironically.

The fan vote only makes up 1/3 of the votes! The players & coaches should know to recognize their peers that really deserve it...
