I think my theory about Todd Heap applies to Mark Clayton, too.

The more we complain about Heap/Clayton, the better they play. lol.
Funny thing is, in theory, if that kick return never happened, it'd be 22-0 right now.

And it'd be giving me even more to rub in the face of Eagles fans tomorrow, if the score holds or improves. :)

I just saw Clayton's celebration. A flag there was SO unneccesary. If the team wants to fine him for endangering his body or whatever, then fine. But how does him doing a flip in the endzone alter the outcome of the game in anyway? It's not like it was prolonged or anything, he wasn't delaying the game.

Edit: There was no flag, but 'Flacco' in Danish sounds like flag. My bad, and the bad of the danish guys commentating for me.
why does the nfl crack down on celebrations?

what the hell is wrong with celebration as long as it doesn't hurt anyone?
Because it's "not sportsmanlike," according to the commissioner. It makes the league look bad, but honestly, it's all Terrell Owens' fault for taking his celebrations too far.

Chad Johnson's celebrations were fun; T.O.'s celebrations were just plain mean-spirited.

The other official reason is because the commish doesn't want kids to copy what the players do, since the players are role models, for better or worse. It promotes poor sportsmanship in Pop Warner football and other kids' leagues.

If they score here, I just hope Harbs doesn't go to conservative with the run. We still need first downs.

I think T.O. mocked far too many players/cities for a commissioner not to crack down on this stuff. Every time a receiver celebrates like that, he is showing up the defense and just being rude. It certainly would not be acceptable if the a started to dance after every single strikeout in a baseball game.
