The lack of storage space could also be a push by Microsoft to get people to use 'The Cloud', assuming they integrate Xbox One with it.  That would make me upset, I don't want my stuff on 'The Cloud'.

My main complain with using Microsoft's "Cloud" system is that they only offer you the tiniest amount. Aside from your profile you can't really store much else unless you intend to buy more storage space and then they have you on the hook for a monthly data storage fee >_<

Im almost positive Xbox one will integrate cloud. You can already use it with the 360.

If I buy a new Xbox 360 will I be able to play newer games? My current Xbox is old as crap and it take forever to read disks. I researched it and it said its because newer games are being played on it.

So I guess my question is, do they update the technology on the console to match that on the disk?

If not I'm just gonna wait and buy Xbox 1 even though I don't want to.

I'm not entirely sure what you're, but you won't be able to play Xbox One titles on the Xbox 360.  While technology does improve in some areas over the course of a console's life cycle, it's not in terms of raw power.  Mainly it's fans and stuff, the newer Xbox 360 is at least 10x quieter than my launch day box.

I would just wait to buy the Xbox One if I were you.

Will they still make new games like call of duty, madden, watchdogs and nba2k on the Xbox 360? Those are really the only ones I'm looking forward to getting. I just don't know if the graphics are now so advanced for newer games that you'd have to buy an entirely new console. I rather buy a new 360 if it means they'll still make the games for it

You'll have maybe a year max of new games once the new consoles are released, but I doubt most of those games will be worthwhile.  The focus is already on the next generation for the major developers.

Watch Dogs is a confirmed next gen title, if I'm not mistaken.

So it won't be available for 360? :(

Weak!

Watch Dogs will be on the 360.

My mistake, I thought it was due out next year.  Didn't realize it was a holiday title.

Now I have to figure out what game I was thinking of.

Not sure if anyone has saw this but this article on Yahoo sheds more light on Used games on Xbox One.

Investor concern appears to be due to a report published on MCV stating that Microsoft has negotiated a deal with retailers which sell used games. The deal would ensure that “publishers -- and Microsoft itself -- will get a cut of the lucrative used game market,”
Under this plan, retailers would be forced to “integrate Microsoft's cloud-based, pre-owned system into their catalog. Once a game is traded in, the previous owner will see it erased from his or her Xbox One account, since games will be installed on the system's hard drive.”

TV features doesn't mean a whole lot to us Europeans as we won't get all the same options.

I can't see anything to make me excited enough to buy one at launch.

Will be keeping the xbox 360 for another couple of years I reckon

Details of how the Xbox One will handle used games, and this is isn't pretty guys. From Pastapadre's Facebook Page:

So finally some clarification from Microsoft on how the Xbox One will handle used games. Keep in mind the PS4 will likely have the very same arrangement.

-No private sales
-No rentals
-No loaning but can give away to 1 person whos been a friend 30+ days

Publishers can determined whether to allow resales to "authorized" retailers.

Wow, that is the stupidest thing I ever heard of. If Sony goes the same route, they will effectively kill Gamestop as a whole.

Now if Sony was smart after seeing this information they would find a way to let the PS4 handle all used games to take away customers from Microsoft.

It will only kill GameStop if Mircosoft and Sony don't deem them an "authorized" reseller, ie give the big boys a cut of their profits, unfortunately GameStop won't have a choice but to give in eventually and share some of their profits or they will be forced out of business by a company that will work with Microsoft and Sony.

How come its okay to rent and buy used dvd's/ blu-ray, books, and cd's but not video games? You'd think not being able to rent or buy used dvds/blu-ray and cds would go first. On the bright side, the 3ds line up looks great this year.

Microsoft is considering PC games as a license situation.  I'm not surprised, they make most of their money through making people having to buy for a Windows or Office license.  It's not like I can borrow someone's Office, pop it in my computer, and use it on word.  PC games have had DRM things on them for a while.  Microsoft is just trying to help them and their related developers make more money.

It doesn't really affect me so I don't care.  In the end it won't really affect sales, so Microsoft won't care.

I get you point about Computer software, they have had that locked down for a while, though most games can be reinstalled on different computers as long as you still have the license key (Office being one of the exceptions.)

However, the person you quoted, I believe, wasn't talking so much about PC games, it was more about how you can rent a DVD and swap it around an endless number of times and ditto for a music CD.

Amazon has five games listed for pre-sale for the Xbox One, and the price of the games are at $59.99. So hopefully that is a good sign as I expected both Microsoft and Sony to jump the prices of games once again.
