1st round- Matt Elam (S) Florida: With ed reed possibly leaving or retiring in the coming years, safety is a concern. Elam can play both the pass as well as knock a player straight off their feet. Him and pollard would be an absolute monster as a hard hitting secondary. Hes very Strong and physical and fits the mold of playing like a raven.

2nd round pick- Sylvester Williams (DT) UNC: It's basically set in stone that Cody has been a bust and hasn't utilized his size to stuff the middle. With Ray gone and Ngata being recently hurt, another big body in the middle is needed. Williams is very quick off the line and had 13.5 tackles for loss and six sacks last season, hes also big enough to stop the run. He will probably fall this far due to his inconsistent play, but his big play potential has far more upside.

Posted Image

3rd round- Brandon Jenkins (OLB/DE) FSU: "Jenkins, recruited to Florida State by Bowden, wasn't able to crack FSU's starting lineup until Fisher's first season at the helm. He posted only 12 tackles, including three tackles for loss, in 2009 but exploded onto the national scene as a true sophomore a year later, earning some All-American nods and First-Team All-ACC accolades with 63 tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks in his first starting season. Among his most impressive games was a career-high nine tackle performance, including 3.5 for loss and two sacks against Boston College and their All-ACC offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo -- the Indianapolis Colts' first round pick two years ago."- CBSSports.com

Hes a stud and would likely be a first round pick if not for injuries.

Posted Image

4th round- David Quessenberry (OT) SJS: Big Bodied OL to provide depth at multiple positions

Posted Image

5th round- Kevin Reddick (MLB) UNC: Solid downhill stuffer, main concern is his motor, but his upside is worth a 5th round pick.

Posted Image

6th Round- Connor Vernon (WR) Duke: Watching a few of his games, he was the ONLY offensive weapon on an average duke team. However, his skill set and body type remind me a lot of jordy nelson for the Packers.

7th Round- Matt Stankiewitch © PSU: Another big body to go on the offensive line and provide much needed depth.

I like every pick except Brandon Jenkins and Matt Stankiewitch but I guess the 7th round pick isn't a big deal.

I'd be happy with this if we retain McKinnie. Also I'd trade in Da'Rick Rodgers instead of Brandon Jenkins.

I want one of the Top 5 ILB's so to have a mock draft without us getting either one sort of disappoints me. I see us taking a ILB or DT before a safety first.

I'm not a big fan of Elam, but I really like the rest of the draft. I'd be really happy if we could get all those players.

Personally I like DJ Swearinger better than Matt Elam. Other than that I like it.

3rd round has some good safety talent in it thats where we need need to strike. First 2 rounds I see D-line and ILB...also you never know with Jarvis Jones stock falling due to injury and because he is projected to test poorly on tests, and drills he could fall to 32, thats a prolific pass rusher right there but its hard to see him fall as far as 32.

that would be great too, however just because of the DUI I dont see Olgetree falling to the second, Id rather have brown anyway. Dont get me wrong though, I would be more than happy with Olgetree too

Sorry but they're not reasonable. Sylvester Williams is a projected 1st rounder and you have us taking him at 62. Reddick is a projected 2nd/3rd rounder and you have us taking him in the 5th. Even Quessenberry and Vernon at the ends of rounds is probably a stretch. We would be extremely lucky to get those guys at those positions.

Of all the sites I've seen, NFL.com seems to be one of the best this year. However, those are two guys they are definitely off on. Just looking now, they have Carradine way too high, Hunt way too high, Lacy too low, Short and Elam too low...

I'm not talking about a few spots. I mean these guys are all off by 30-60 selections. At least compared to the average of other sites. I would still say Williams is around the 35th in the draft and Reddick around 85. If you had to work with those numbers, this draft would be completely different.

I think this draft is impossible to predict like that. The top 100 players is going to be rated massively differently by pretty much everyone who tries to do it. Carradine was a top 10 player and arguably the best pass-rusher in the draft until he got hurt. How much does the injury make him slide? I think he goes in the 2nd round, possibly in the first. That's just one example. I think I have seen about 15 different DT rankings of this class, and it is always changing. Most people 2 months ago were saying Star Lotulelei was a lock to go top 3 if not first overall. Now multiple people dont even have him as the #1 DT.

Still, there's so many mocks in here where guys are drafted to us at enormous bargains. Even though it's hard to predict, you have to have some idea of where players are going eventually. If Reddick is projected anywhere from the 2nd to the 5th round, to me you can't just assume take him in the latest round possible. Especially when we're picking last in all the rounds. Even if the draft is hard to predict, the point of a mock is to be realistic and I didn't think this one was.

I agree with hawkprey, this is very unrealistic, at least at this moment in time. Obviously things are going to change drastically over the next two months, but right now, this isn't going to happen. Would love it if it did though, of course...

I love the Jenkins pick. I'd be stoked if we snatched him in the third.

However, I definitely think we trade back in the 1st this year. But if we did make a pick at #32, I'd want it to be Jesse Williams if he were still on the board
