Guess he doesn't share the love for Arthur Brown with some of us. He does like the Kiko however. I knew he was high on Shariff. I use to think we might have a shot at drafting him, but that is starting to look like a pipe dream now.

Is it really though? It could it be the fact that Teo played ILB for Notre Dame.

Glad to see Kiko Alonso, Menelik Watson, Braxston Cave, Datone Jones, Kawann Short, Arthur Brown, Jordan Poyer, and all the safeties he mentioned (I like each one of those a lot, especially Motto who impressed me). My only issue is he obviously has ND bias, lol.

I am glad someone recognizes Kiko's talents as better than Ogletree. I think Kiko's superior to him myself. Floyd's a monster. I wanted him so bad in the early year and then I just kept watching him and I saw our chances of getting him fly away. He's easily BPA at 32 if there.

Ogletree is better than Alonso and a lot of other ILBs...like I said Ogletree was the top ILB on Mayocks board prior to his arrest.

Interesting that Barrett Jones is ranked 3rd of the centres... And Zeke Motta as the 5th Safety? That seems a stretch.

I personally disagree. I'm not a fan of Ogletree. It doesn't have to do with his character concerns, either. Just don't like his style of play and would rather have Greene than Ogletree. That was before the arrest.

I don't know if Motta was just because he's got a Notre Dame bias. I did like Motta a lot when I saw him play. He makes good reads and seemed to always know where the ball was going. I was impressed with his instincts. I would have ranked the safeties differently, had some others ahead, but Motta's a very good prospect.

I think he is better as an OLB but I still think he has the ability to become a good ILB, I think he is a project ILB but he has some great intangibles...unfortunately he has character concerns that pretty much rank him lower than all LBs, and I think he will go undrafted based off of the fact that right after he got arrested teams started takimg him off their big boards.

He put him under OLB. That's Arthur's original position.

IMO number 5 safety should be T.J. McDonald...with Tony Jefferson in the mix.

I don't like Alonso's character red flags. In his last season, he seemed to have gotten over them though (which is why I still like him more than Ogletree, who still manages to get himself in trouble), but he will no doubt have to nail those interviews.

Agreed. Hopkins isn't even in his top 5 for receivers, He has Sam Montogomery in his top 5 for DE's

Oh of course. I agree. Alonso needs to interview well. His character flags aren't that bad, either. Didn't he have only two problems with the law? I remember a DUI and something else. I think it was a misdemeanor. I mean, the DUI is stupid but come on man. It's not a DWI, which is good. Also, we have a good locker room. Also, he hasn't had any problems since. I think this red flags are a tad overrated.

I can agree with this to an extent and see the reasoning. Manti's overall body of work is impressive. Off field issues and all, when you're ranking these guys you shouldn't be taking that into account (when ranking, just because rank should be on talent). Draft stock is a different matter, but Manti basically has one terrible game against a the juggernaut that is Alabama to his resume. So I can see why he would still be ranked #1.

Also on Arthur Brown, I know a lot of you have watched games of his this year, but has anyone watched him in prior years or assessed prior to this year. He kinda came out of nowhere.
