After a one month breather, I am back.

Remaining Mocks
Post Combine/Pre Pro Day (March 5th)
Post Pro Day (March 25th)
In the style of Walterfootball, April Fools Mock
Final Mock Day before the draft...

OFFSEASON

Resign
Flacco
Ellerbe
Reed

Extend:
Leach
Boldin
Jacoby
Tucker (We cannot let him get away, he is arguably the best kicker in the NFL)

We will let everyone else go.

FREE AGENCY

Branden Albert:
Many will say that he is the best option after Long... But I think we have a realistic chance with him. Why you ask? Back problems.... The same our very own Marshall Yanda has.....

We have some of the best doctors in the entire NFL (See, Ray and Suggs last year) working for us. Yanda's problems have went away, or decreased. I trust our doctors to do the same thing. Due to his injury history (many are saying he is not trusted to play 16 games a year), there is a realistic chance we get him.

Draft Pass Rushers,

Or get really good DBs.

Changes Coaches might make.

DLINE STARTING LINEUP

LE: Pernell McPhee
RE: Art Jones
NT: Ngata.

Eliminating our biggest need left by changing up our own lineup is cheaper than brining someone in... Correct me if I am wrong...

Time to cut to the chase. Lets begin the damn draft shall we......

I still think that the idea is still brilliant with my own modifacation to it
TRADE our 1st round pick for an early 2nd, 3rd and early 4th
TRADE our 3rd(not the one we traded for), early 4th (from previous trade), and 6th to move into the mid 2nd

I will give credit where credit is due. Stm85's idea is brilliant.

Same idea, different draft... Lets do it

2a. Matt Elam
The guy plays like a Raven. He is a hard hitter, a ball hawk, great tackler, great instincts.... May I go on and on.... Even with Reed's last ride going on, and him being the succesor, Pollard played through hell last year.... This guy can play either saftey postion. Relief to both Pollard and Reed.

Oh, and in a few years, the Pats are going to hate playing a secondary with
Webb
Smith
Corey
Pollard
and Elam....

Have fun opposing NFL QB's. Have Fun.....

2b. Zach Ertz
I don't get why a lot of mocks have him falling. Big Body, great hands, great athlete..... BPA, another weapon for an elite QB......

Ok, you are prob confused.... So I will answer your very obvious question.

WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE US TAKING A TE THIS EARLY?

Well, let me answer your question
1. Ozzie takes the BPA.
2. Ertz's potential>Pitta's
3(The really long explanation).

Jim Caldwell.
Ertz has some of the best hands in the draft, and is a great athlete. Jim Caldwell LOVES using two TE sets. I do not see Dickson improving his hands (If he does, we are probably not going to be able to afford him anyway, too talented. Might be a pro bowler with improved hands).

Ertz going over the middle, along with Pitta would be HELL to opposing defenses. Both with sure hands. Both above average athletes. Great players. THIS is a move that I think could get us back to another SB.

Plus, every elite QB (cept Rodgers) has an elite TE backing them up ;).

2C. Sylvester Williams.
IMHO, he is the most underrated DT in the draft. Great power, good speed, solid tackler. Him in the middle, if we do not do the change I suggested would raise hell... You already have Ngata, who is close to unstoppable when he wants to be, a very good 3-4 DE in Jones, and now Williams..... Once again. Opposing Teams. Have fun! Football is won on the lines, which is why he is a great pick.

3(from the first trade)
Da'Rick Rogers WR:
Similar to Janorious Jenkins, he is a druggie. A talented Druggie, but nevertheless a druggie.

He's talented, really talented, would probably be a first round pick if the drugs never caused him trouble.

4 (Comp)
Chase Thomas DE/OLB
We need another pass rusher after Kruger leaves.
Is a relentless, instinctual pass rusher. Perfect for our defense.

5. Jon Bostic
A solid run thumper. What we could use with Ray gone ( :(). Ellerbe is one hell of a coverage LB, and a great run stuffer. A 3-4 with another run stuffer could be exactly what we need. For the value, I love this pick.

5 (comp) Chris Faulk
Again, another great Value. If Albert Goes down. We need another LT. He could be a great backup. Why not?

6. Taimi Tutogi FB
If we want a FB, we want an atheltic one. Leach is not going to be around forever, and we are going to need someone to groom behind him. A good athlete and a duel threat for a FB.

7. Joshua Boyd DT
Gregg went undrafted, we could find a NT anywhere
Comment below... Thanks

Oh, and for Gabe's sake I did not post a UCLA player, because according to him, they all suck :P

There is no way that FA happens. Grimes is a good corner and will be expensive despite his achilles injury. Albert will be the 2nd best LT on the market (Clady will be tagged). While Albert is average, he will be overpaid by someone wanting a LT. Then, you have our whole cap situation, once you factor in RFAs, ERFAs, and Flacco, we will probably be over the cap. Therefore, there is no way we can afford either of those FAs.

Back Spasms are an injury that could put off that consideration. They are a problem that is hard to get rid of. I took Grimes off of there, but with the amount of possible cap casulaties that will happen, there is always a possibility.

Let the wizzard work lol. Do any of our offseason FA predictions usually come true? Anything to keep Oher on the right side

I like the idea of 3 2nd round picks though I know it won't happen. I think the 2nd is a bit early for Williams and I don't like Chase Thomas.

Why do you not like Thomas? He's a great pass rusher. A great replacement for Kruger

Size, can struggle off blocks, not very fast, bad when in goes into coverage. I think I read somewhere there was some character concerns as well though I'm not 100% on that.

Oh, and for Gabe's sake I did not post a UCLA player, because according to him, they all suck :P

1. Why do we need to extend Tucker? Isn't he an ERFA for a couple of years? I could be wrong. Just trying to clarify this. A little confused. I thought a player who comes here as a UDFA becomes an ERFA for the next 3 years and is then an RFA if tendered on the 4th year.

2. I don't see Albert coming here, my man. I just don't. Ozzie doesn't seem to think it's a big need. Unless Albert comes here on a deal, like a good one, I just don't see it.

3. I don't like the idea of making Ngata a permanent NT as I previously did. I'd rather put Arthur Jones there who played NT while at Syracuse in those sub-packages. I feel like Ngata's injuries will get worse there--not better.

4. I love the idea of three 2nd round picks but I think the idea's terribly unrealistic. Wish it did happen. Do you or anyone else know of a time it happened? Does anyone know of a time in NFL history where a team managed to pull off trades during the draft to acquire three 2nd round picks? I bolded it so someone would (hopefully) respond but I really want to know.

5. I like Elam & Ertz. Not a fan of Williams. Rogers is good but I just don't see us taking him. We seem to avoid these character issue guys recently. Not a fan of Thomas. Bostic's OK. I feel you have Faulk too low, personally. Tutogi's OK. I like Boyd but you think he's going that far down? It could happen. I'm just now sure.

I realize that's your opinion but I disagree. I have Elam as a late 1st round pick. There are some teams who could take him. Heck, Bengals or Texans could. Patriots could. We or the 49ers could. A team can trade up out of the 2nd and up into the 1st to get him.
