From that video he's gone, can't afford him. Small world though that Charlemagne is Omar Browns cousin.

Yeah I was thinking, that's crazy.

Don't be surprised if it's KO, Harewood, Gino, Yanda, Oher. I hear the Ravens are really be high on KO and if it came too it, I think he'd be the LT before Oher. At this point I think they owe it to Oher to keep him at RT. Oher should only play LT in a pinch.
I don't think KO will be LT. I think the Ravens would rather have a solid interior than holes in areas. KO is possibly an elite guard. Him, Yanda & GG could form one of the strongest interiors out there. I'd rather put Reid at LT or RT & Oher at the other spot than have KO anywhere but LG.

Osemele wasn't that great as RT. I think he was great as a LG. I hope they try to keep what really worked well and not bet on blind faith that reshuffling the group will somehow fix things.

I love the NFL-comparison: Michael Oher.

I really think Oher could be an exceptional guard.

Sigh. The way Bryant was talking in that video, he's gone. We won't have the money to give him what he wants.
Don't panic yet, how much did this board panicked last year when it came out Rice wanted AP money, we saw how that turned out. The only thing that concerns me is his inability to keep his weight down. I would think he would want to be motivated to go after another ring and be our starting LT for the entire season.

Couldn't being the primary blindside protector for a potential 2 time SB MVP give you endorsements and as a result
$$$$$$$$$$$$?

Sooner or later we will need to draft more o-line. We also need to dump the players that are ineffective & injury prone (jah reid?) and just start fresh w/ a new draft.

With the way salary cap is now..it is what it is. Bryant might not be back. Hope he does, but whatever. Gotta start fresh sooner or later.

I'm talking about if someone is willing to pay Mac more then the Ravens. I feel KO could be the best LG in the NFL, starting next season. So I definitely want KO at LG.

However, Harbs has shown he's not afraid to shake the oline up. From the guys we have now, I think Harbs would give KO a shot a LT and keep Oher at RT.

KO was always thought to be a guy that would need good coaching to maximize his raw talents, so I wouldn't put too much stock into the fact that he had his struggles at RT, because he also had great moments.

Also, I don't think people are giving Caldwell eoungh credit for the improvement of the offense. I like what Mac did, but i'm not so sure if was Cam calling plays, if the great performance by the oline wouldn't have been.

Too late. I already have an IOU contract with McKinnie for the Ring. All it cost me was $437 and a burrito. To be fair, the burrito had extra cheese and a special sauce.

Call me crazy, but I think Jack Cornell is gonna win LT. He's a very solid O-Lineman. You don't always have to draft O-Line. Look at Jeff Saturday.

I agree that we need depth, but I don't see it as paramount we get it. I like the guys we have. I know people will think I am crazy, but I see Cornell, Oher, or Reid as a dark-horse candidate. I don't think we're that bad off. I think we take a guy if the right prospect was there, but no reaches. Ozzie was really talking up Cornell a lot last TC & he has been here learning the whole time.

Reid won't be cut yet. The FO tradede up to get him. His injuries are crazy, but we have to give him a chance.

I, too, think that Cornell is going to pan out. Admittedly, my hunch on Boren was wrong last year, but Cornell has no size issues. I really would like to see him play.

I understand the whole work ethic thing and the play like a Raven thing. That is very important to me, but because I still believe that McKinnie gives us our best option for winning, I would like to see a deal worked out. If we do, I hope we play the guy on game day an let him be the decent LT he is.

However, that video also leads me to believe he won't be back. I wish I would not have watched it.

I'm a little late, but I just watched the interview. I have to say, I really don't like McKinnie now.

Charlamagne: "Do you want to be in Baltimore?"
Bryant McKinnie: 2 second pause, sucks on lower lip "Naah..." stumbles over words" I like the team, but..."looks at Charlamagne "...you know..."
Charlamagne: "You need that bread."
Bryant McKinnie: Nods head in agreement "Yeah."
Charlamagne: "'I got a ring--now I need that bread'"
Bryant McKinnie laughs with everyone.

I really don't like that. It sounds like he won't be back to me, either. Like he knows we won't be able to afford him, and he's probably right.

I doubt he's coming back especially after the way Harbaugh treated him. Say what you want, he's a merc, he's overweight etc at the end of the day he was absolutely instrumental in our Super Bowl run.

I agree that McKinnie was a big part of our run, but I think our OL solidified because of KO to LG than McKinnie to LT & Oher to RT. Having KO, Birk & Yanda in the middle fixed our issues and made our interior about as dominant as it can be. I think that was the biggest part of our run. McKinnie played well, but I think he got a lot of help from KO.

Mckinnie needs to get his mind right. I want him to stay. Once he got his weight down he was great in the Playoffs, when he got his opportunity.

But look he's 34 years old, has a little baggage with weight and effort issues. He just needs to come on back to Baltimore

I was hoping to get a veteran stop gate with Jake Long ( whom could be cap-casualty ). Long is only 28 so if he were signed and had a healthy year and motivation from a playoff caliber team which he hasn't been apart of yet, he could get back into Top 5 LT form.

However, I now find this scenario highly unlikely, do to Flacco's contract situation, I'm not sure even if he signs a new contract with huge bonus to lower his cap number next year if we could offer I reasonable deal to a player like J.Long.

B.McKinnie may want to comeback but I doubt he wants a one year deal also, he looked good in the playoff run, I think the entire Oline benefited from Caldwell's play-calling as well not having to protect all day while the long deep routes are developing down field.

In the draft I'm hoping that Minter, Te'o, or Olgetree, or pass rusher falls in the first round to us, so maybe draft a OT like Chris Faulk LSU in the 3rd or 4th round he began the year as a possible 1st round talent but suffered injuries.

Jake Long is not a stop gap, he's a legit and expensive free agent
I referred to him as that simply, because I read 2 or 3 articles on my Espn insider going in detail about teams concerns that Long's production has declined the last 3 seasons, while his body begins to break down, and that while he seems young at 28 he actually has more wear & tear due to his nagging injuries. They used some of those ProFootball Focus stats etc. basically it's like some nfl teams view him as a possible Tony Boselli, Chris Samuels ( guys that were Premiere Tackles but injuries wore their bodies out sooner than expected ).

Currently even at 80% Jake Long is still better than more than half the starting LTs in the league, but some teams will be reluctant to get into bidding war because of injuries.

And when I said I doubt Flacco's contract will allow us to make a reasonable offer to Long, that's basically admitting he could get expensive unless he chooses to sign a shorter deal with a playoff caliber team.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Ravens sign King Dunlap to come in and compete. My thinking is that Juan Castillo might still like his potential and thinks if he would have stayed as oline coach that Dunlap would have had more consistency, thus allowing him to play better in his young career.

Not saying he'll sign as the starter, just another guy to compete at the LT spot. From a starter standpoint I think either McKinnie will come cheap or the Ravens will move on to a guy like Max Starks.

Max Starks at 32 will probably come even cheaper then BMac and could allow the Ravens to draft and groom. That's what they'll want from Mac, but he'll probably be looking for a 3-4 year deal. Starks knows the AFCN and actually blocks well at LT when healthy. The Steelers try their best to replace him but he ends up right back at LT. They have Gilbert and Adams as their starters now. So Starks will either be a FA or retire.

i'm on the side of the fence he gave it all during his SB run and that was it. no more ray lewis to light a fire on his behind. like he said himself, he got the ring. his motivation was short lived

responding to his quote, he can go eat some "bread" and make some "bread" somewhere else then. i don't want players that don't want to be here.

Not a fan of his either, I was just wonder if maybe Juan Castillo might talk Ozzie and guys to convince them that he can get the best out of Dunlap. He actually had success in 2010 while Castillo was oline coach, he was just inconsistent, which was his problem in college to so.

But I wasn't really saying he could be our LT, just wondering if he might be one of Castillo "guys"
