Alex Rodriguez has a target on his back now!

That game was pretty crazy. I don't understand how Dempster wasn't ejected.

Matt Harvey has partially torn his UCL.  He'll miss the rest of the season and may require Tommy John's surgery.

Has anyone else noticed that the Royals need somewhere around thirty wins during the next thirty days to finish with a winnine record?

As for the Pirates, I'm hoping for a winning record from that club for this season, for I used to be down on that club, but not any more.

PIT should easily win a playoff spot. KC has slowed down considerably after an impressive run this season. Their future is looking bright.

Imagine if Burnett had played as well in NYY as he is in PIT...

The Pirates make all their players be better than the team they got him from........like their hole pitching rotation

The stars are now lining up for NYY.  They're now 3.5 games behind division rival TB for the 2nd Wild Card.  OAK, CLE, BAL & KC are slowing down.  Soriano is killing it.  The team have Mo to rally around, as he enters his last regular season month in his career.

As a long time Red Sox fan, I am holding my breath during these early days in September.  Loving John Farrell as manager after that crazy year with Bobby Valentine.

He should be a top contender for MOTY.

You are right, flaccopoe.  I hope the team continues the heroics for the rest of this month.

This weekend's series will be key.

Damn, the Red Sox really put themselves in hot water, giving up 6 runs in the 7th inning.  Luckily, they scored 2 runs in the 9th and 10th to squeak away from the BX.

Wow, Chamberlain just gave up a single and 3 straight walks to increase his team's deficit to 3 runs...  :surrender:

The MLB and NFL just can't seem to avoid each other. There may be another conflict with the Oakland A's heading toward the playoffs. As we know, the Raiders share the stadium with the A's meaning the October 6th game in Oakland against the Chargers is in jeopardy. The U-T San Diego says since it is a division game, they can just switch division games and play the game in San Diego and play the second game in Oakland in December.
